KITCHENS REMODELED

Before and After

The following pages show kitchens that were recently remodeled by Rogers Residential Remodeling. Before photos kitchens are provided where available, as well as the After photos. Some kitchens were gutted and completely renovated, and others were updated without replacing the cabinets. For all of these kitchens, we did the design work and managed all aspects of the projects.

These projects involved the following:

• Complete kitchen design – conceptual and detail design • Reconfiguration and expansion of kitchen space • Relocating water heaters and utility closets to gain more space • Removing and opening up walls • Installing new wood or tile flooring (travertine, limestone, marble, porcelain tile, ceramic tile) • Repairing and modifying sub floors as needed • Raising the kitchen ceiling • Installing recessed lighting and cove lighting • Install low voltage cable lights • Installing pendant lights • Building and installing suspended light boxes and light panels • Installing custom cabinets, refacing cabinets, and dry brushing cabinets • Customizing and installing modular cabinets • Designing, building and installing islands using standard cabinet components • Installing countertops with overhangs for breakfast bar, including metal bar reinforcements for big overhangs • Installing ranges and cook tops • Re-plumbing the kitchen, and bringing gas to the kitchen range • Installing island cook top vent hoods and wall vent hoods • Installing built-in microwaves in cabinets • Installing built-in refrigerators • Building refrigerator panels • Installing wine cooler and wine cabinet • Installing dishwashers, disposals, microwaves, and other standard kitchen appliances • Moving sink to the island • Installing second veggie and/or bar sinks • Installing new sinks, faucets, disposal and drain plumbing • Installing pot fillers above range or cook top • Installing granite slab, granite tile, and laminate countertops • Installing windows and glass blocks • Installing stone backsplash in a variety of designs • Installing glass tile backsplash • Installing custom fused glass backsplash • Texturing and painting


Ainsworth Kitchen - This kitchen was completely remodeled. A partial wall was removed between kitchen and living area to open up the kitchen and allow the installation of an island with a breakfast bar. The new kitchen has maple cabinets with soft close drawers and Silestone countertops. Other features include track lights, wood floors, stainless steel appliances including a standard refrigerator which is recessed into the wall to enable a built in look.

Townsend Kitchen - This kitchen was completely remodeled, including removal of wall separating it from living den, vaulted ceiling, bamboo flooring, maple cabinets, and 12 foot island with breakfast bar. Ceiling has low voltage can lights and low voltage cable lights were installed above the kitchen galley. Black granite was installed on the countertops and onyx marble on the backsplash.

Van Ness Kitchen - This kitchen completely remodeled and expanded to include water heater closet. Gorgeous limestone tile floors were installed. New cabinets, Caesarstone countertops, and new appliances were installed. Also, new Marvin window, glass blocks, and glass tile backsplash.

Snow White Kitchen - This kitchen was gutted and completely renovated. Absolute Black granite countertops in a brushed finish look great with the gorgeous Montserrat Gold slab on the 9’ by 4’ island, with a backsplash designed to pulls them together. See www.10816SnowWhite.com for more photos.

Vinecrest 1 Kitchen – Kitchen was opened up from kitchen to living den, with a bar top. The small enclosed wet bar was used to enable a standard depth refrigerator to be inset and not stick out into the kitchen. Also, new cabinets were built to match existing cabinets and provide deep pull out trays and built-in microwave.

Norwalk Kitchen - This kitchen was updated except that the original cabinets were retained. Black Galaxy granite was used on the counters and Golden Crystal granite on the island. Tumbled travertine was used on the backsplash and design over the new gas cook top. New stainless steel appliances were installed.

Vinecrest Kitchen 2 - This kitchen was gutted and completely renovated in a high end contemporary style. Custom wood floors flow from the den and dining areas into the kitchen, and a custom fused glass backsplash was created. High end appliances and fixtures were installed. Vincrest 3 Kitchen - This kitchen was enlarged to include an old butlers pantry, enclosed wet bar and walk-in pantry in favor of an open bar area and floor to ceiling pantry cabinets. The new kitchen has sable colored maple cabinets and Silestone countertops. Other features include a large L-shaped island, pendant lights to match the glass backsplash, and a standard depth refrigerator and freezer installed with a built in look.

Manana Kitchen - This kitchen completely remodeled and expanded into the living room about two feet with an arched opening, and hardwoods were installed to match living area floors. Granite tiles were used on the

countertops and backsplash, and new lighting and appliances were installed..

Barrywood Kitchen – With this kitchen update, the original cabinets were retained and dry brushed. A built-in refrigerator cabinet and island were added and also dry brushed. Counters and island have granite tops. Hardwood floors were installation and hew recessed lighting was installed.

Glenridge Kitchen - This kitchen was partially updated. Original cabinets were retained – sanded down, repainted and installed with new hinges. Utility closet was relocated elsewhere. Cork floors, granite countertops and backsplash, new recessed lighting, under cabinet lights, and new appliances and fixtures were installed.

Rosser 1 Kitchen - In this kitchen update, some of the cabinets were retained, refaced and painted, and others were replaced. Everything else in the kitchen is new with granite countertops and porcelain tile floors.

Rosser 2 Kitchen - This kitchen was reconfigured and updated. Some of the original cabinets were retained, and others built to match. A 48-inch built-in refrigerator installed and a built-in microwave was installed above one of two panty areas with large pull out drawers. Countertops are granite.

Valiant Kitchen - This kitchen was partially updated - original cabinets and some of the appliances were retained. Bamboo floors were installed in the kitchen and into the breakfast room and den. Cabinet finished was touch up.

For the following six kitchens, there are no Before pictures available. These are the After photos. The first four of these kitchens were gutted and completely redone with new cabinets. The last two kitchens were updated, while retaining the existing cabinets.
