RIHAND SUPER THERMAL POWER PROJECT (EMPLOYEE DEVELOPMENT CENTRE)

Communication

Vocational Training at NTPC- Rihand- 2014.

In view of enhanced security threat to power plant following guidelines will be adhered for imparting Vocational /

Summer Training to students undergoing professional courses (B Tech/ MBA/ BBA).

The training will be organized in two batches as under:-

Following documents (in original) must be submitted in EDC for consideration of training:

(1) Authorization letter from college in original.

(2) (i) In case of ward of NTPC employees: Self certification by NTPC employees (in prescribed format only).

(ii) In case of ward and relatives of associate: application to be routed through respective departmental

head under which control/perview concerned associate is working. (In prescribed format only)

(iii) In case of relatives of employees: Application to be routed through respective HOD in which Deptt.

training is to be provided- for second batch.

(3) Accidental insurance coverage for the training period in all cases.

(4) Character certificate issued by college in original (in case of relatives)

NOTE: (1) Due to administrative reasons application for training in O&E & EMG (Environmental sciences) will not

be entertained.

(2) VTs will be entertained in EDC on Monday and Friday from 2.30 to 5.30 PM only to avoid normal working

of EDC.

(3) Accommodation, safety appliances, transport etc. has to be arranged by the candidate only .EDC will not

provide such support.

Above guidelines have been framed, keeping in view, to provide quality training to student without hampering the

work of respective dept./ EDC as well as safety and security of our plant. Hope, all concerned will cooperate with

us for smooth function of vocational training.

This issues with an approval of competent authority.
