Abstracts Of Papers Presented By Students:

Nanorobotics Vaishanavi Hire, Third Year Electronics &Communication Department

(Presented in Cognizia-2012, National level Paper Presentation Competition organized by Sir

Visvesvarya Institute of Technology, Cincholi,Nashik on 6th March)

Abstract:

Nano robotics is one of the emerging technologies which came with advancement in nanotechnology. It

is the technology of creating automatic robots whose components are at or close to the atomic scale of

nanometers The paper deals with two areas of nanorobotics, the first one is the design and simulation of

nanodevices and the second one involves assembly of nanorobots. The discussion includes theoretical

aspects of nanorobots such as Environmental sensing, Navigation, Communication and manipulation.

The paper describes the instruments for nanorobot such as atomic force microscope, single molecular car,

toxicity detector etc. At present design of nanorobot is based on biological system majority of

applications in this area are been directed towards medicines. The paper presents the manufacturing of

nanorobots for medical application like surgeries, drug delivery, cancer treatment and diagnosis of

diabetes. The paper also provides information on the open technology that accelerates nanorobotics

development. The paper focuses on advantages and disadvantages as well as researches, challenges and

future development of nanorobotics.
