Eyelid Lift (Blepharoplasty) Surgery
Your eyelid surgery may be performed with either local anesthesia or sedation or with general anesthesia. The procedure may take as little as
one hour to as much as three hours to complete. The incisions are generally placed in inconspicuous locations, either in the creases of the upper eyelids or just below the lashes of the lower eyelids, thus allowing
the resulting scars to be well concealed.
Once the incisions are made, excess fat, skin and muscle are removed form the upper and lower eyelids. Transconjunctival blepharoplasty is a
less extensive procedure in which incisions are placed on the inside of the lower eyelid and just excess fat is removed from the lower eyelid.
Brachioplasty (Arm Lift) Surgery
Your arm lift surgery may be performed with local anesthesia and sedation or with general anesthesia. An average of one to two hours is typically
needed to complete the surgery. The incision is usually made on the inside of the arm, though its length will depend on the amount of excess skin
being removed.
In some cases, the incision may run all the way from the armpit to the elbow. Once the incision is made, excess skin is excised and
liposuction is used to remove excess fat.
