Medium General Purpose A Green Non-woven web with aluminium oxide grain for general use in metal and wood working. Due to its suitability for a wide range of application this product is the bestseller among the hand pads. Therefore “GP Green” is also available as non-woven web roll.

Very Fine A Maroon Non-woven web with aluminium oxide grain for achieving a surface finish on work pieces which are inaccessible to machines, e. g. construction of railings.

Ultra Fine SiC Grey This non-woven web with silicon carbide is frequently used in varnish intermediate grinding for roughening varnish in between coats.

Non Abrasive White This non-woven web without grain is used as an aid to cleaning agents when cleansing metal surfaces.

KLINGSPOR non-woven web hand pads are used as a rule in hand grinding. The roll material is used in hand grinding and on orbital sanders. The individual products differ in terms of grain type, density and thickness of the non-woven material and the quantity of resin used. The density of the non-woven material and the quantity of resin determine both the flexibility and the stability of the product.

■ Applications Non-woven web hand pads and rolls are used for deburring, cleaning, polishing and surface refinement. Depending on the particular application there is a choice between products with silicon carbide (SiC) or with aluminium oxide (A= aluminium oxide). Products with silicon carbide are mainly used for working on paints and varnishes. SiC products are also used to achieve the mirror finish on stainless steel surfaces which some customers request. Non-woven web products with aluminium oxide are used for processing of metals and wood.
