Handcrafted wire meshWith the introduction of customized, hand-crafted wire

mesh grillework, Klise now provides an additional way

to distinguish and enhance cabinetry, wine cellars,

furniture and other architectural designs.

When designing your next project, consider adding

unique or classically inspired wire mesh grilles, formed

wire or other custom metal fabrications. Our factory

artisans have over four decades of experience in producing

intricate, American-made metalwork and can provide

a wealth of creative suggestions and design ideas to

distinguish any project.

Finishing OptionsFor most grills, wire material and style is selected, crimped

and hand-woven to customer specifications. It is then

electroplated with the selected finish option. A final high

grade lacquer spray coating is applied for durability.

Due to the hand-crafted nature of this product, there will

be minimal color variations within an order which adds to

the unique character of the product. Final product may

vary from samples or from order to order and exact color

matches cannot be guaranteed. For critical matching,

unfinished grills may be ordered and finished locally to

enable final on site inspection.

• Standard electroplating options include Brass, Copper

and Steel. Additionally, Chrome, Nickel, Pewter and

Bronze are also available.

• Standard finishes include Antique, Satin and Bright

with special glazing effects also available.

• Plain steel or solid brass wire grilles are also available

without electroplating or finishing effects.

AccentsRosettes and cones can be tack-welded to wire joints for

that unique addition. They are available in any electro-

plate or finishing effect. Shown below in brass with other

styles and types available for special order.

STYLE 303: CANED WIRE MESH GRILLE PATTERN1/2” or 5/8” mesh use .050” wire; 3/4” mesh use 1/8” wire. Mesh spacing measured center of crimp-to-crimp contains both single crimped wires andstraight cross wires.

STYLE 221: DOUBLE CRIMP | SQUARE WIRE3/4” mesh use 1/16: wire; 1”, 1-1/8”, 1-1/4”,1-1/2” mesh use 1/16” or 3/32” wire; larger up to 2-1/4” use 3/32” wire.

STYLE 301: SINGLE CRIMP | FLAT WIRE1/2” mesh use .040 x 1/8“ wire; 5/8” mesh use.040 x 1/8” or 1/16” x 1/8” wire. 3/4” maximumspacing.

Installation information.Our wire mesh grilles are hand-woven to customer specifications. Wire meshes are not welded, but are held together by the interlocking effect of weaving. As a result, the nature of the grille is to be somewhat flexible, and during shipping and handling are likely to change shape and appear to be the wrong size. A simple compression or scissoring motion will return the grill to its original length and width. Tolerances for unframed grilles are - 0˝, +1⁄8˝in width and - 0˝, +1⁄4˝ in length. Metal framed grille tolerances are - 0˝, +1⁄8˝ for both dimensions. Excess wire may be trimmed for final mounting taking care to trim sides equally to maintain symmetry. If ordered, rosettes are tack welded, “freezing” the shape. Grilles with rosettes are not adjustable.
