Dumped Society, a group of car enthusi-asts from Fort Lauderdale, was founded by car enthusiast Justin. He shared with us his desires for creating Dumped So-ciety. He said: “Aft er numerous attempts to show off our stuff on other websites & being told we were not up to their “standards,” we decided to go ahead & create a place where everyone can show off their rides with people that share the same passion. It doesn’t matter where you’re from, what you drive, or how many car features you may have; it’s about the fun and love for cars.”

Scikotics is the largest nationwide Scion Owners club, brought together by a pas-sion for their cars. Th ey are a free car club and these guys are all about having fun and showing off their creations. Th ey welcome all Scion owners whether they have a fully custom ride or a stock daily driver. Th e various chapters have meets at least once a month & you can also catch them at local & national car shows with some of the most unique rides. Th is group also helps out the community when they can by helping to raise money for many charities throughout the year. Scikotics have over 50 chapters stretching across the United States. Defi nitely a car club that is here to stay.

Th is ride is a limited production vehicle that Scion off ered in High Voltage Yellow. Danny has turned this tC into a real head turner. “I’ve always had a passion for cars since I was kid playing with Hot Wheels to collecting diecast cars. I’ve had a lot of infl uences in my build from friends to family to the JDM scene in Japan and seeing crazy builds for Sema from diff erent aft ermarket companies.”

1931 Model A K3 Projekt Rat RodSome may see a rusted piece of junk while others see a statement being made. A Rat Rod is a style of hot rod that exaggerates the early hot rods of the 40s-60s. Not to be confused with the closely related traditional hot rod, a period-correct res-toration of a hot rod from the same era. Rat rods appear unfi nished or rusty with what some call mother nature’s paint job. Th e interior of the rat rod is designed to be operative but without many comforts to the occupants. Despite some criticism, the rat rods have become widely accepted in custom car culture.

Yes it’s a Hyundai

“What type of car is that?” or “Is that’s a Hyundai!?” Th ese are the most common questions faced to James, the owner of this sick 2013 bagged Hyundai Genesis Coupe. About a decade ago, KDM cars were not that popular in the North Amer-ican import scene. Korean cars were thought to be cheap and the models did not appeal to the younger crowd. Fast forwarded to now. Hyundai has put out a great line up and is a very respectable brand. With his second generation Genesis, James has put his spin on his Hyundai transforming it into his very own JDM killer! He is pushing 300 horses with a Manga Flow Full Exhaust, and Short Ram Injen in-take. Stopping all those horses is a set of Brembo brakes and 255/35 BF Goodrich tires, wrapping the 19x9.5 19x10.5 +22 Varrstoens 2.2.2 rims. Body mods include front lip, vis carbon fi ber hood, truck and diff user, and AirREX airbags to lay this eye candy on the ground.

Wide LoadIf there was a record for the one person that has gone to the most car shows in two diff erent countries, Tim would get it hands down! In the summer you can catch Tim cruising the streets of Ontario, Canada or winter time in South Florida headed to a car show in one of his 30 plus rides. Tim is a big car collector but an even bigger philanthropist! His “Tim and Brenda’s Place Annual Cruise for the Cure” car show has raised over $200,000 for prostate cancer in past few years. Tim showed off his two wide body rides for Klutch Customs both built by Wide Body Kings, TS Designs in California. His red on red British beast, a Bentley GT Coupe sits nice on 22” Forgiato Designo and his American muscle Phatzo, a white Twin Turbo Convertible Camaro SS sporting 24” Forgiatos with an 11 inch lip 24X15 on the rear.

14Th ese rides are pushing over 600 horse power! Tim likes to buy his cars already cus-tom built. For instance, Summer 2012, Tim walked into the Miami Beach Conven-tion Center for a car show (in which he had his own cars on display) and spots the Camaro. Tim knew he had to have it and the rest is history. A few months later he also snatched up the Bentley GT which happened to be sitting right next to his Phat-zo Camaro at the same car show. Tim is defi nitely a major player in the car game.

ALL WRAPPED UPYou wont catch Tate Design & Fabrication up on some big billboard on the high-way or spot him in fl ashy ad campaigns. He doesn’t need the publicity because if you’ve seen his work, it speak for itself. Th is shop is one of the premier custom wrap shops in South Florida but it doesn’t stop at just wrapping cars, they do oth-er custom work as well. Owner James Tate decided to take a chance and step out on his own when he opened up his shop and that chance certainly paid off . Tate has humbly worked on many cars & theres a good chance you’ve noticed these beautiful rides on the streets. it up with owners Sebastien & Raiko. With a good state of mind and a positive head on there shoulders,

The Gathering of the Giants Tattoo Convention & Lowrider Car Show was a great event for both car & tattoo lovers. Held at Mi-ami-Dade County Fair & Expo, both car enthusiast and ink lovers got to enjoy the best of both worlds. Some of the illest tattoo talent fi lled the room and it showed as crowds of people gathered to get inked up by all the amazing artists. If getting jabbed by a needle wasn’t your thing, there was still a lot to take in such as the dope cars on display thanks to custom shop Bowtie Connections, South Florida based car clubs USO, 25th Street Riders, Low Lyfe as well as a few others.
