The State Bank of India Management realizing that

not all pension issues or problems can be resolved at

the Pension Paying Branch or at the PPG Dept, of the

respective Circles for want of relevant information has

introduced “Sanjeevani” Help Line that would facilitate

any Pensioner to help resolve an issue or any problem

or to seek a clarification related to his or her Pension.

All that one needs to do is call 022 - 22858130 on

any working day between 10.30 AM and 06.00 PM and

Officers in the Senior Management Grade would be on

tap to furnish or help the Pensioner resolve his Pension

issue, grievance or related matters.

In case a query or problem cannot be resolved on

call, a ticket number is issued for further follow up.

The Pensioner may have problems for which he may

not get a suitable reply or the required information at

the local level. The problems may be regarding the

Arrears of Pension paid about which no details have

been furnished, the revised fixation of Basic Pension or

regarding income tax recovered or the frequent changes

in HRMS site, without proper information to the user

etc. The introduction of the “Helpline” raises the hopes

of the Pensioner that at last somebody has been

thoughtful about him and that he might get an answer

to many of his doubts or his continuing lack of clarity on

many of the pension perspectives.

Policy ‘B’ would be purely voluntary and on payment

of premium from own sources. No subsidy would be

paid by the Bank under Policy ‘B’ from next policy term

i.e. after 15.01.2019.

8. Please bring the contents of the circular to the

knowledge of all concerned.

Yours faithfully,

(Prashant Kumar)

Deputy Managing Director (HR)&

Corporate Development Officer
