St. Patrick's Day Festivities

We are planning on having the Corned Beef Dinner and Sandwiches on Saturday, March 14th and if there is a lot of Corned Beef left, we will offer

Sandwiches on Tuesday the 17th. This way people will be able to come all day, and not be concerned with having to rush back to work. Dues Notices were sent out Dec 15th,. If you have not paid your dues for last year, PLEASE do so real soon. Supreme is a real stickler in

requiring us to bill you and to report that you have not paid your dues for last year.

We are required to start the DROP you from Membership if you have not paid after the 2nd

billing, We, Mike does a third and a fourth billing before starting that process. But you

can still STOP that by paying your LATE dues soon. Dues should be sent or dropped

BLOOD DRIVE, Jan 13thThe Jan 13th Blood Drive was not the success we were hoping for but it was somewhat of a success, we were down on appointments but most of the appts. we had, did show. We had about 9 open appointment slots. We only had a couple of REJECTIONs but we only had 1 Double Red show up, while we had two Dbl Red appts not show up. We had several Walk Ins, 1 was a Double Red. So we ended up with 34 units. We are very appreciative of the time you give up to come and DONATE Blood , Blood has been in Short Supply for months now. You can call the Red Cross to make an appt by calling 309-662-0500 or call Steve direct at 309-370-3720, And you can Do Fast Pass to save yourself time during the check in process. We still need a couple pf volunteers to make Blood Drive calls and / or to work the Drive as an Escort or Canteen volunteer. Calling takes about an hour to make the calls. Next Blood Drive is Mar 9th, Thanks, Dennis

Ladies Auxiliary NewsThe Ladies Auxiliary will be hosting a Spaghetti Dinner on Friday Feb 14th from 5:30 to 6:30 PM. Movie, Lady and The Tramp will be playing on the Big Screen during dinner. We will have LIVE Music by Gary Cates after the Dinner and Movie. Music start approx, 7 and go until 10 PM. The Dinner will be; Spaghetti, salad, garlic bread and a desert, $6, 5 years and under $3. There will be Raffles and a 50 / 50. The Auxil mtg will be on Feb 13th so we can set up for the dinner the 14th and discuss St Patrick's Day. Thank you, Kristy

TAPS, ST PAT'S Fr Joseph Boylan Council is doing; St Pat's, TAPS Home Brew Celebration on Saturday February 8th, from 7 - 9 PM in Shamrock Hall at St Patrick's

Church of Merna. This is a celebration of the "home brewer" culture in central

Illinois. A friendly way to sample unique beers among friends in a casual church setting. $20 each and you will receive 12

samples of 3 oz each, a sampling glass and plentiful finger food and appetizers.

Non-Samplers $10 for food and soft drinks. MUST BE 21 to attend. Buy

COUNCIL MEMBERSHIP OPEN HOUSE

Was well attended, we had quite a room full of members and a few prospects and a couple of Transferees, and some members came to pay their dues and visit. Mike had a nice group of speakers. and they all kept their message short. Jim Smith provided a nice assortment of snacks.
