Meaningful Purpose Continues…

Daily for 30 minutes during IE Classes

No Age Requirements Rules to Follow – When you have a

gift, you use it to help others. Never make something to give to

another person that is not good enough for you to personally wear.

j     June 15, 2010  Re: Comminity Service Hours

Knitting4Life To Whom It May Concern: Please accept this letter as verification of the 30 service hours that Ahman ____ has completed as a member of the Crittenden Middle School’s Knitting4Life (K4L) Instructional Enrichment Program during the 2009-2010 school year. The rule for being a part of the Knitting4Life circle is that each member must knit four items of whatever it is we’re knitting. The first well-made item goes to the less fortunate, the second item goes to a friend, the third well-made item goes to a family member, and the final well-made item goes to oneself. If the student does not have a friend or family member who can use the first three items, they are contributed to needy groups. This school year K4L was able to contribute 17 well-made scarves to the “Downtown Christmas Party” sponsored by St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church and 35 preemie hats to the NICUs at Mary Immaculate and Riverside Hospitals.  Sincerely,  Felicia Barnett Sabrina Carnesi
