The Knürr Mobile Cabinet Thank you for choosing Snap-on’s Knürr Mobile Cabinet. This trolley is prepared for self-installation. Required tools are not part of the delivery.

This manual applies to the Knürr Mobile Cabinet:

Proper usage

The components of the Snap-on Trolley are designed for workshop, garage and industrial use in a dry professional environment. The use in other areas, for example in a wet room, outdoors or for applications other than mentioned, shall be deemed improper.

The manufacturer will refuse all warranty and liability claims caused by improper usage, or if components are added or modified without authorization.

1.3 Safe operation The Knürr Mobile Cabinet is delivered in perfectly safe working conditions.

Knürr Technical Furniture GmbH can only guarantee the safety, reliability and function of the Knürr Mobile Cabinet if it is assembled, used, extended and modified as described in this manual.

• Keep this manual for future use.

• Check for external damages before putting into operation! If damage or some kind of defect is determined, the Snap-on Trolley may not be operated.

• In case of damage and defects please contact your distributor.

• Do not use the Knürr Mobile Cabinet in damp rooms.

• Assembly, installation and start-up operation only by trained personnel. Only carry out the work described in this manual.

• If a fault occurs (while setting up the system) please contact the customer service (see 1.5).

• Refer also to the documentation (from other manufacturers) supplied for connected devices and accessories.

1.6 Standards and Regulations Snap-on’s Knürr Mobile Cabinet, made by Knürr Technical Furniture GmbH has been designed and tested in accordance with the relevant standards and regulations.

2.1 Delivery

Shipping damage

Items supplied

The elements of the Knürr Mobile Cabinet are partly assembled by the manufacturer before delivery. Read before transporting to the installation site.

• Note the accident prevention regulations when working with a lift truck or fork lift truck.

Danger If the components have clearly suffered shipping damage, we cannot guarantee that they are safe. • Report shipping damage to the forwarder or manufacturer immediately after delivery.

2.2 Assembly Remove the packaging

Waste disposal

All the materials used in the packaging can be recycled. • Dispose of all waste in an environmentally friendly manner using local facilities. • Comply with current regulations relating to environmental protection and waste disposal.

3.1 Fitting the slide rails to the drawer shelf

Pull apart slide rails

Prepare drawer shelf, inner side of rails and 4x screws Phillips head M4x5

Mount inner part of slide rails to the sides of the drawer shelf

3.2 Fitting side panels and bottom cover to the wheel base

Prepare 6x Allen screw M6x12

Prepare wheel base with pre-assembled casters, bottom cover and left and right side panel.

Place them sideways for easy installation or have a helper secure the side panels.

Mount bottom cover together with side panels to the wheel base.

Be aware of the orientation: Castors with brake to be at the front.

3.3 Fitting the fixed shelf to the side panels

Prepare fixed shelf and 4x Tensilock Nut M6

Hang shelf into the threaded press-studs in the middle of the cabinet sides and bolt down with the Tensilock nuts.

3.4 Fitting the top cover

Prepare top cover and 6x Nut M4

Align top cover’s threaded press-studs with both side panels and bolt down with nuts M4.

3.5 Fitting the slide rails to the side panels

Prepare outer parts of slide rails and 4x Phillips head screw M4x8

Mount outer parts of the slide rails to mounting bracket on each side panel.

3.6 Fitting the rear panel Prepare rear panel and 6x Screw M5x10 Torx T25 secure

Secure the rear panel to 3 positions on each side panel.

3.7 Fitting the cable winder Connect the cable winder with its extension,

then mount them to the treaded press-studs of the rear panel.

3.8 Insert the drawer shelf Align the slide rails and insert the drawer shelf carefully.

3.9 Fitting the front door

Prepare door, 6x Nut M4 and 6x Phillips head screw M4x8

Hinges are pre-mounted to the door. Align the door with hinges to the mounting positions of the right side panel. Secure with Phillips-head screws and nuts (nuts inside side panel).

3.10 Fitting the VCM and VMM holders Prepare 6x Allen screw M6x10 Prepare 2x Phillips head screw M6x10

3.11 Fitting the cable pole Prepare cable pole, holder with thumb screw and 2x Allen screw M6x10

Mount cable pole holder to left side of cabinet with 2x Allen screw M6x10

Insert cable pole into holder and secure with thumb screw.

4.1 Fitting the docking station CF-VEB531 to the top cover Prepare bracket, Counter Sunk Screw M4 (2x) and Tensilock Nut M5 (2x)

First, mount retaining bracket to underside of docking station CF-VEB531 with 2x Counter Sunk Screws M4.

Then, remove plastic plugs from top cover and secure the docking station unit to top cover of cabinet with 2x Tensilock Nut M5 from inside the cabinet.

4.2 Fitting the docking station CF-WEB194 to the top cover Prepare bracket, Tensilock Nut M5 (2x) and Screw DIN7985 M5x10 Torx T25 secure (2x)

First, connect the docking station unit with the bracket left and right, using Secure Torx Wrench T25. Bracket inside of docking station sides.

Then, remove plastic plugs from top cover and secure the docking station unit to top cover of cabinet with 2x Tensilock Nut M5 from inside the cabinet. You can choose two mounting positions as desired.

4.3 Fitting the docking station CF-VEBD11 to the top cover Prepare 2x brackets (left and right) and Tensilock Nut M5 (4x)

Hook the brackets into the docking station as shown.

Remove the plastic plugs from the top cover and position the docking station and both brackets with the threaded press-studs on the top cover through the four mounting holes.

Secure the docking station unit to thetop cover of the cabinet with 4x Tensilock Nut M5 from inside the cabinet.

4.4 Safety Locking the door:

Door remains closed through the retaining magnets in the left side panel.

Overnight safety: Store all equipment inside the cabinet and lock the front door with a padlock (not supplied) through the hasps as indicated.

Use the front wheel brakes to

ensure a secure stand of the cabinet

Locking the complete cabinet:

Lock the complete cabinet, e.g. with a chain and padlock, or a bicycle lock through the hole, provided in the wheel base of the cabinet.
