The benefits of the modularly designed, different APU familiesresult from the integration of various features and functions. Themain benefits are the reduced costs and reduced installation effortcompared with individual air treatment components. The ZB44 air processing unit offers a solution to fulfil the require-ments of a brake system with one pressure level. Compared with

other Air Processing Units, the primary benefit of the ZB44 is itscompact size – only slightly larger than many stand-alone airdryers. Additionally, the high number of options provided givesthe opportunity to use one installation package for differenttruck and bus applications.

Air dryer and multi circuit protection valve are combined in one “monoblock” housing.
