SIP ParadeHere’s a project that’ll leave you sipping pretty: paracord drink coasters!

Wrap paracord into a spiral, as shown, securing with craft glue as you work.

Want to take paracord on a play date? Update old flipflops by making square knots around

the existing straps. Then, crochet your way to a weather-resistant bottle wrap—we

used a size K hook for #550 cord.

HANG Tight Start this project by looping eight 126” strands of paracord through a 2” steel ring (Crafts Department). Then work down, knotting to create a basket—we used a half-knot twist sinnet for the top and bottom and a Josephine knot for the center (see diagrams on pages 7 and 8). Add decorative wooden beads as desired.
