What is "knowledge"?«Knowledge» means the outcome of the assimilation of information through learning. Knowledge is the body of facts, principles, theories and practices that is related to a field of work or study. In the context of the European Qualifications Framework, knowledge is described as theoretical and/or factual (The European Qualifications Framework for Lifelong Learning (EQF) Luxembourg: Office for Official Publications of the European Communities. - 2008 )

«Знание» означает результат усвоения информации посредством обучения. Знание содержится в виде фактов, принципов, теорий и практик, относящихся к сфере работы или учебы. В контексте Европейской рамки квалификаций, знания описывается как теоретические и / или фактические

What is a "skill"?«Skills» means the ability to apply knowledge and use know-how to complete tasks and solve problems. In the context of the European Qualifications Framework, skills are described as cognitive (involving the use of logical, intuitive and creative thinking) or practical (involving manual dexterity and the use of methods, materials, tools and instruments (The European Qualifications Framework for Lifelong Learning (EQF) Luxembourg: Office for Official Publications of the European Communities. - 2008)

«Умения» означают способность применять знания и использовать ноу-хау для выполнения задач и решения проблем. В контексте Европейской рамки квалификаций, умения/навыки описываются как когнитивные (связанные с использованием логического, интуитивного и творческого мышления) или практические (навыки ручной работы и использования методов, материалов, инструментов и приборов)

What is the "automated Skill"?

«Automated Skills» - driven to automatism skill. Every new mode of action, proceeding initially as a self-deployed and conscious action, can be already performed automatically as a result of multiple repetitions

Навык - доведённое до автоматизма умение. Всякий новый способ действия, протекая первоначально как некоторое самостоятельное, развёрнутое и сознательное действие, затем в результате многократных повторений может осуществляться уже в качестве автоматически выполняемого компонента.

The essence of control is to identification of learning outcomes and compare the obtained results with the stated aims, which is carried out through a system of measurement, units, standards.

Types of control: preliminary, current, final and delayed control.

The forms of control : individual, group and collective.

Requirements for control

individual character;

systematic, regular monitoring at all stages of the learning

process;

variety of forms and methods;

comprehensive control;

objectivity control;

unity demands from the teacher.

Methods of controlObservation (map observations, criteria, parameters)pros / cons

Questionnaires methods (oral, written)

oral – a conversation written - testing

Assessment, mark

The results of control of pedagogical process expressed in its assessment .

Assessment – ascertaining achieved level learning outcomes

Quantitative expression of the assessment is the mark.

Measuring scale

Scale items (nominal or classification) is a finite set of symbols for no unrelated states (properties) of the object

Ordinal scale (ordinal, rank). It is used in cases when the observed (measured) parameter, not only allows us to identify a link with one of the equivalence classes, but also gives the opportunity to compare in some respects different parameter

Bloom's taxonomy1. Knowledge Exhibit memory of learned materials by recalling facts, terms, basic concepts and answers

2. Comprehension Demonstrate understanding of facts and ideas by organizing, comparing, translating, interpreting, giving descriptions, and stating the main ideas

3. Application Using acquired knowledge. Solve problems in new situations by applying acquired knowledge, facts, techniques and rules in a different way

4. Analysis Examine and break information into parts by identifying motives or causes. Make inferences and find evidence to support generalizations

5. Synthesis Compile information together in a different way by combining elements in a new pattern or proposing alternative solutions

6. Evaluation Present and defend opinions by making judgments about information, validity of ideas or quality of work based on a set of criteria
