The International Association of Structural Control and Monitoring (IASCM) Takuji Kobori Award wasfounded in 2012 [1] and was awarded for the first time in 2014 at the 6th World Conference on StructuralControl and Monitoring (6WCSCM), held in Barcelona. It was awarded for the best paper published in

Structural Control and Health Monitoring (SCHM – official journal of IASCM) in the year 2012.The award winning paper and authors are Shunlong Li, Songye Zhu, You-Lin Xu, Zhi-Wei Chen,

and Hui Li ‘Long-term condition assessment of suspenders under traffic loads based on structuralmonitoring system: Application to the Tsing Ma Bridge’ Structural Control and Health Monitoring,Volume 19, Issue 1, February 2012, Pages: 82–101.
