KOLORADO MK3 2500 utilizes an HMI 2500/GS lamp (Sfa 21 – 12 base)and shares a similar wide angle output and the CYM colour mixing system ofits small brother KOLORADO MK3 1800. However, it offers with its newlyconceived optical system an extremely powerful light output, giving the abilityto cover greater areas or distances, and indeed effective use in a higher levelof ambient light, than the 1800W version. Like this version, Kolorado MK32500 has a uniform colour coverage, creating superb effects.The detachableballast unit is separable from the main unit by up to 25m, and the relativelyresultant compact size of the main unit can greatly facilitate both portableuse and fixed installations. Control is the same as the 1800W, with selectableinbuilt speed controllable pre-programmed colour blend sequences, or fullcontrol from standard DMX512, in which mode the lamp on/off can beremotely operated. A stand by function reduces power consumptionautomatically by 33% after black-out has been activated for more than 15seconds. The aluminium and galvanized steel body, with certificated IP44weather protection, is coated with black epoxy powder paint for exterior use.A new version of this unit using the 2000-hour MSA 2500W lamp is nowavailable. Existing KOLORADO MK3 2500W user note: upgrade to the longlife lamp version on request. KOLORADO MK4 2500, available in the HMI lampversion only, is the latest upgrade of this renowned series of colour changers.This new model completes the range of technical features already available withits predecessors by offering the additional plus of the electronic strobe facility.Excellent for live shows performance, the MK4 model becomes now essentialfor a genuinely entertaining experience.PATENT PENDING ON THE ELECTRONIC STROBE SYSTEM ON GR0560

The detachable ballast unit is separable from the main unit by up to 25 m, and this and the relatively resultant compact size of the main unit can greatly facilitate both portable use and fixed installations. Control is the same as the 1800W, with selectable inbuilt speed controllable pre-programmed colour blend sequences, or full control from standard DMX512, in which mode the lamp on/off can be remotely operated. A stand by function reduces power consumption automatically by 33% after blackout has been activated for more than 15 seconds. A version of this unit using the 2000-hour MSA 2500W lamp is also available (Kolorado 2500 MK3 LL). Offering the additional plus of the electronic strobe facility, the MK4 version is available in the HMI version only.
