Hi kids! Welcome to Konnect! I'm so glad you're here! My name’s _____ and I'm your emcee! Guess what? We’re gonna talk about a mission God gives to everyone: Help humbly! Say it with me! (Together with kids) Help humbly! Before we get started, my friend Nitro will explain some important rules!

It’s so great to be able to give to God! Now let’s learn today's Point. It says, “Nobody’s better than me, and I’m not better than them.” Repeat it after me loud and proud! It’s so fun to make a slap bracelet! And it’s even better when that slap bracelet reminds you that everyone matters to God! Now, look at the kid next to you and tell them the Point. Your neighbors are not just the people who live next door. God says EVERYONE is your neighbor! God sure wants us to love a lot of people! Our Bible verse talks about that. Say it with me. When I found out Jesus died for me to make me right with God, I was surprised He loves me so much and wants to listen to and answer every one of my prayers! If you want to follow Jesus, too, let your Small Group Leader know, TODAY! Having Jesus in your heart fills you with God’s love and helps you use that love to be a good neighbor to everyone. Go ahead and talk more about the ABCs and being a good neighbor in your Small Groups!

All right! I’m ready for a fantastic time with you kids! My name’s ____ and I’m your emcee! Today, we’re learning about people fishing! Everybody say, “People fishing,” with me! (Together with kids) People fishing! Aw, c’mon … you can say it louder! (Kids shout out) People fishing! Wow! My ears are hurting now! Listen up as my best robotic friend, Nitro, shares the rules with all of us!

God gives us so much, and we’re so blessed we get to give some of it back to Him! This week’s Point is, “I’m on a mission to go people fishing.” Are you ready to say it with me? Okay, let’s do it! (Together with kids) I’m on a mission to go people fishing. Nice! Now, open your hearts to learn how important it is to focus on our greatest mission.

Fishing poles are complete and ready for action! There are a lot of people you kids are fishing for this week! Let’s see. Which Small Group can say, “Fish for people!” the loudest? Let me hear you! (Kids shout out) Fish for people! Oh, I think name a Small Group was the loudest! Now look on the screen to focus on worshipping God!

Great! You all listened to Nitro really well! And some of you might even get a reward for making great choices today: a Dot sticker! Your Small Group Leader will be watching to see who they can pass out Dot stickers to this week! Those Dots are worth some serious points at the Konnect Window. Now I’ll pick two friends to pick up our offering while the rest of us watch the offering video. Let’s find out why we give money to God. (Choose helper)

Fishing for people is all about sharing God’s Good News about Jesus! Let’s say our Bible verse about that together! (Together with kids) Mark 1:17 “Come, follow me,” Jesus said, “And I will send you out to fish for people.” Great job! Now, let’s make something with our Small Groups to figure out who we’re gonna fish for this week.

God gives us a lot of examples in the Bible about how to live for Him, but without Jesus, we won’t be able to do it. Let your Small Group Leader know if you’re ready to ADMIT your sin, BELIEVE Jesus died for you, and CHOOSE to depend on God’s power to help you say, “No!” to sin! That’s when God can change you and give you the power to share God’s Good News about Jesus!
