Kony 2012 Fact SheetFACT:

No one has seen Joseph Kony in at least 6 years.

FACT:

The atrocities referenced by Invisible Children Inc. in their video occurred 10 -20 years ago.

FACT:

Invisible Children Inc. only donates 30% of the profits from the sale of their “Kony Kits” and other such

ventures to charity.

FACT:

Invisible Children Inc. is not considered a reputable charity organization both for the statistically low

amount they actually donate and because they have never been audited by an impartial outside party.

FACT:

The Ugandan Gov’t, Ugandan Army and Sudan People’s Liberation Army that Invisible Children Inc. supports all three rose to power on the backs of child soldiers and all three are riddled with ongoing accusations of rape

and looting . That 30% Invisible Children Inc. does donate… goes to these three regimes.

FACT:

Kony 2012 is a scam which seeks to make profit off of past tragedies. It supports a corrupt regime and has the American public chasing ghosts of tyrants long

since passed. All of the facts I have posted here are

easily verifiable on the internet… you just have to want to see them. And you probably don’t. It’s nicer to

believe that if you pay $30.00 for a ‘Kony Kit’ you can fix this cruel world than that all of the time and effort spent hanging Kony posters has been not only futile, but also, quite ironically, an act against the Ugandan

public. Hanging this was probably a huge waste of time on my part, but I had nothing better to do so I thought

I’d breathe an air of reason into this insidious campaign which is fueled by the ignorance of people who

participate in movements without vetting them first.
