Objectives of Krishi Vigyan Kendras (KVKs)
The sources of funding of the Host Institute, specially NGOs, and its audit reports for the preceding three years should be studied to know the financial position and stability of the Host Institute
site should be surrounded with sufficient number of villages having farmers, farm women, labourers etc.
The farm area should be a piece of contiguous land, cultivable with permanent source of water supply at least for drinking and part of the area to be irrigated
Place should have educational and other civic facilities for the staff and their families.
The location of KVK may be as far as possible in the central part of the tehsil and easily accessible.
Plan of the location of the proposed land in the district along with the development plan of the land should accompany the proposal.
The organization should have clear and marketable title to the land/property.
The land should be free from all encumbrances, attachments and litigation.
The land proposed should be absolute property of the organization and not a single or joint property in the name of any individual

The land should be free of cost and rent. The land should be in the name of the host organization.
The minimum requirement of land for the establishment of KVK is 20 ha.

Madhya Pradesh Budget Analysis 2017-18 • Total expenditure for 2017-18 is estimated to be Rs 1,69,954 crore, an 8.5% increase over
the revised estimate of 2016-17. The revised estimate for 2016-17 is Rs 2,083 crore lower than the budgeted target
• Agriculture -Rs 33,564 crore has been allocated for the Agriculture Budget in 2017-18. Rs 400 crore has been allocated to the Rashtriya Krishi Vikas Yojana, and Rs 40 and 46 crore has been allocated for agricultural mechanization and agricultural equipment.
• Horticulture -Rs 92 allocated for Rashtriya Krishi Vikash Yojna .
• Allocations to the departments of Rural Development increased by 7% respectively, over the revised estimates of 2016-17.
• Skill Development: Rs 100 crore has been allocated under skill development scheme, for the ‘Mukhya mantri Kaushal Samwardhan and Kaushalya Scheme’, to train 2.5 lakh youngsters and two lakh women.
