KVH Singapore Data Center 1 (SGDC1) is located in Jurong East, 15 minutes from the financial district, and was purposely designed to serve the mission critical needs of enterprise businesses. With Tier III+ architecture, KVH SGDC1 offers a leading-edge, high-specification facility with integrated colocation and IT services solutions that can be customized to meet the various demands of the financial, media, and manufacturing industries. From KVH SGDC1, customers can also gain ultra low latency connectivity to the world’s key business and financial cities. The data center links to KVH’s high-speed global network that leverages international Points of Presence (POPs) in Singapore, Tokyo, Osaka, Chicago, Los Angeles, New York, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Busan, Seoul, Mumbai, London, and Sydney. KVH SGDC1 is ISO and ISMS-compliant and has extensive security features, including dual authentication access with biometric scan and card key access controls, to address the needs of enterprises handling mission critical data. The facility is capable of providing true 2(N+1) power redundancy with dual power feeds traversing through separate infrastructure to reach the racks. With 700,000 liters of diesel fuel stocked in the underground tanks, up to 48 hours of power supply is available for cases of power outages. KVH’s data centers throughout the Asia Pacific region are a key part of KVH’s information delivery platform, which combines data center services with an extensive range of network services, managed IT services, and robust cloud solutions to enable multinational customers to establish IT service hubs that support their business in Asia. All KVH data center services are supported by KVH’s 24 x 7 bilingual (Japanese and English) Service Desk.
