Maryville City Council Approved Tourism Committee Morgan (1-24-17) Start: Tuesday 6pm Bust: Tuesday 10pm The Maryville City Council met last night to discuss the creation of a tourism committee. This action is a follow-up to the Transient Guest Tax Maryville voters approved November 8th. Sixty thousand dollars of the revenue from the guest tax is to be used for tourism efforts throughout the community. The Tourism Committee would advise the city council with those tourism efforts.
