I was selected to be on a four person team to participate in a month-long competition sponsored by the Hous-ton AIA and CAH. The objective was to repurpose an abandoned building to provide a healthcare clinic for the surrounding community. Key evalua-tion factors were sustainability, adap-tive re-use, and solving programmatic issues in health care design. Work was done collaboratively using Revit.

During an Urban Design Studio my work group analyzed and imple-mented a number of dierent design strategies in downtown Lubbock. We showed our work publicly, including Lubbock city ocials, to solicit and incorporate feedback. Each member of the group developed their own lots along a major thoroughfare. The work shown was done with Rhino to demon-strate various presentation techniques.

SUMMER INTERNSHIPDuring the summer of 2013 I interned at STG Designs Austin oce. While my tasks varied throughout the summer my most important indi-vidual accomplishment was to develop a com-plete set of guardhouse construction documents that began from a simple sketch. I was respon-sible for 90% of the drawings under supervision. I also completed the render shown on these pages for a team competing to re-purpose an old intake building on Lady Bird Lake. All work during the internship was done with Revit.

This project was a mixed use build-ing near downtown Dallas next to Klyde Warren Park. The program included a lecture hall, cafe, lobby, book shop, museum, library, AIA oce space and a rooftop bar. I chose to design an exposed steel structured building. This graduate school project reects a compre-hensive eort representing a considerable amount of graduate and undergraduate learning and development. Primarily created using Revit, post production was done with Rhino, Photoshop and Illustrator. 2012

This project, a museum in Lubbock to showcase World War I glider aircraft, was done to learn how to design a large span steel structure. The building has nearly 130,000 square feet and was mostly comprised of museum space with additional space for oces, storage and a theater. The 165 foot span was designed to local building codes. Primary design was done using Rhino with post production done with Illustrator, Photoshop and Vray.
