Dear Parents/Carers,

you to state a preference for a 5 minute appointment on either Monday 15th October between 3:30 and 5:30pm, Thursday

on both sites. There will be tables set up around the hall for all teachers and a seating area for you to wait in and look at

your child’s books.

At the Parents’ Evening, you can expect the class teacher(s) to discuss your child’s progress so far this term and how they

have settled in. They will also share your child’s targets with you, the activities they have planned to address these targets

and how your child is getting on with them. The senior leadership team will be available on both nights to support with any

additional matters. Should you require an appointment lasting more than 5 minutes, please let the class teacher know so

that they can plan this in for another time.

We look forward to seeing you very soon, if you can help with OPAL and if not, then at Parents’ Evening in a week’s time.

Memorial rededication—11/11/18

Some of our Y6 children will be producing work to be taken along to the memorial rededication in Trimdon Village on the 11th November 2018. There will be a ceremony….. The children’s work has been based around the book ‘The day the war came’ by Nicola Davies.

Our Golden Rules are: Be Ready, Respectful and Safe.

Science is fun!

Our Y5 children made us proud on Wednesday when they

attended a science event at the stadium of light. The

helped them to understand more about science. The chil-

dren were extremely well behaved and some even came

home wanting be scientists!
