Indications• Poultry: for the treatment and prevention of:

- Chronic Respiratory Disease (CRD): Mycoplasma gallisepticum

- Escherichia coli - Diseases associated with a low mortality rate.

• Pigs: for the treatment and prevention of: - Swine Dysentery: Brachyspira hyodysenteriae - Porcine Proliferative Enteropathy (ileitis):

Lawsonia intracellularis, and associated enteric pathogens (Escherichia coli).

The presence of the disease in the group must be estab-lished before the product is used.

ContraindicationsDo not use in case of hypersensitivity to the active substances or any of the excipients. Do not use in case of hepatic dysfunction. Do not allow rabbits, rodents (e.g. chinchillas, hamsters, guinea pigs), horses or ruminants to access to water or feeds containing Lincomycin. Ingestion by these species may result in severe gastrointestinal effects. Do not use in laying hens.

Dosage and administrationFor oral administration in feed or preferably in drinking water. L-SPEC-100 S (soluble powder) is formulated for administration as the sole daily source of drinking water until consumed followed by non-medicated water for the rest of the day, if necessary. A fresh solution should be prepared daily. • Poultry:

- Prevention: 150 g L-SPEC-100 S in 200 litres of drinking water for 3 to 5 consecutive days. L-SPEC-100 S may be used from the first days of breeding and repeated in every period of stress or vaccination.

- Treatment: 150 g L-SPEC-100 S in 150 litres of drinking water daily for 3 to 7 days.

• Pigs: - Prevention: 150 g L-SPEC-100 S in 2 to 3 tons

of feed daily for 8 weeks, starting from weaning. - Treatment:

Water: 150 g L-SPEC-100 S in 1500 litres of drinking water for 1 week. Feed: 150 g of L-SPEC-100 S in 900 kg of feed for 1 week; followed by 150 g of L-SPEC-100 S in 1 to 3 tons of feed for 3 weeks.

Treatment should be initiated as soon as first clinical signs occur.
