ST-AGPS
With ST-AGPS technology, L16 speeds up TTFF obviously and supports up to 5 days.

Warm Start <30s <5 s
The ST-AGPS technology is able to provide predicted ephemeris to the GPS engine in a
time frame less than the usual time (about 30 seconds) needed to download real
ephemeris from the sky. This reduces considerably the time to get fix especially in critical
environments when the ephemeris download time could be very long.

Anti-Jamming
In both GPS/GALIEO and GLONASS branches, an adaptive notch filter block is
present. The Adaptive Notch Filter(ANF) is a filter capable of “self-tune”, through a
proper adaptation algorithm, to the position of the jammer frequency, searching
autonomously for the eventual presence of the Narrow Band Interferer(NBI). It’s able
to identify and to eliminate an eventual NBI without affecting the incoming signal.
The figure below shows the block diagram of Notch filter inside the acquisition and
tracker structure.
The ANF can operate in three different ways:
1. Always ON the signal passed always through the ANF
2. Auto Insertion Mode the signal passes through the ANF only if there is an NBI
3. Always OFF ANF disable

L16 GPS+GLONASS vs GPS only
L16 GLONASS+GPS ( An average of 10 satellites all the time) Competitor GPS only ( An average of 5 satellites all the time)
Tracking Comparison
When driving under overhead road with tall buildings on each side,
L16 module can track an average of 10 satellites all the time, and
show good GPS+GLONASS positioning as well.

L16 vs mCompany MXX2217(2)
When driving on the open road, L16 module can achieve the highest
performance in position fixing. Positioning failure will never happen to
the L16 module.

Tracking Comparison
When driving in urban canyon, L16 module will not be influenced by
GPS drift due to its best position fixing system.

Tracking Comparison
While driving under overhead road, L16 module still shows its good
position fixing.
