ADDITIONAL FEATURES FOR ALTAY’S LAB MOBILE

No more reeks and safety issues, the mini portable fume hood is the ideal stand alone solution to perform didactic chemistry experiments. The air under the hood is constantly sucked in and funneled thorough an active carbon filter box that cleans it before feeding it back to the room. This system is very practical and cost effective since it does not take any installation in the school facility. To start using it, just place the hood on the top, connect the pipe to the port located in the rear side of the Mobile and turn on the switch.

Simply open the side door and pull out the sliding top to get a wider and more effective working area for you experiments.

This holder set comprised of cart’s binding support, rod and 75mm VESA adapter allows to connect any All-in-One PC (75mm VESA support needed, 21” screen suggested) to the Lab Mobile in order to cozily display the current experiment, search for support info or analyze experimental data.

A suitable cost-effective All-in-One PC featuring 21” HD Multi-touch screen, Intel Celeron G1840, 4GB Ram, 500GB HDD, 2xUSB 3.0, Super Multi DVD and Windows 8 Home can be provided upon request.

Unreliable grid power is no longer an issues for your labs. Using high efficiency solar panels (250W), this powerful portable solar generator will turn sunlight into clean usable electricity that can power the Lab Mobile anywhere in the world! Any power it is not used is stored away in commonly available batteries (2X 100Ah) for later use when there is no longer sunlight available. Unlike gasoline generators that are loud, stinky, and gas hungry, this system is silent while charging & discharging with absolutely no gas, fumes, filters, or oil to deal with. AC power is provided through an high quality 1000W inverter.

Altay offers you the option to set up your own multimedia system on its Lab Mobile. Altay provides a couple of height adjustable orienting shelves and you will gain choice of selecting the devices to place on.

proBlEm Solution

Many facilities do not have laboratories equipped with water and gas. Investment cost of building dedicated to laboratories with benches, gas system, water and electricity.

The Lab Mobile can turn in the blink of an eye a classroom into a laboratory. It provides an acid resistant worktop for 4 to 6 students, an autonomous system for providing and disposing of water, a gas burner and a spirit lamp.

Costly investment in low-voltage power supplies and electrical measuring devices.

The lab mobile’s trolley includes on its frontal panel a 0 -12 v power supply, a digital voltmeter and digital ammeter.

Difficult to store the variety of materials needed for the labs (dispersion, risk of breakage and theft).

The Lab Mobile offers large lockable drawers equipped with shockproof foam pods to accommodate every component. Breakages and losses are limited and control and storage after each lab is facilitated.

Problems related to the safety of students during labs.

The Lab Mobile offers a fire extinguisher in case of fire and first aid kit in case of accident.

Availability and consistency of electricity in facilities (electricity not available, cuts and load shedding, power surges, etc...).

The Lab Mobile, coupled with a solar panel, regulator and batteries allows you to calmly carry on the labs in areas without electricity or in case of a power failure or load shedding. It incorporates protection against overvoltage with fuse.

Difficulties for teachers in the implementation of labs due to the lack of lab technicians and waste of time for setting up experiments.

The mobile laboratory’s trolley comes with a manual clearly showing all the details needed for assembling more than 80 experiments. Average mounting time of experiments is just 8 minutes.

Need for equipment storage space by discipline. The Lab Mobile save the costs for the acquisition of additional storage (cabinets, etc ...). All hardware is stored in the drawers.

Significant investment by a non-rational choice of matching type of equipment / optimal amount.

The Lab Mobile offers the optimal quantities to carry on the necessary program controlled learning experiences, thereby reducing the cost of investment.
