Action Plans :

Page 20: Labor Powerpoint by Tessa and Esther

Our Purpose-We would like to inform Shanghai American School Pudong of the fact that migrant schools in China are closing because of financial problems. You may say to yourself, “Only migrant schools are closing, it isn’t a big deal. Why should we care?” Well migrant students aren’t allowed to attend local public schools because they aren’t local residents of the village. Therefore special organizations help build migrant schools for these students. We, as a whole community, can help make a difference by raising money for Compassion for Migrant Children. Who then will use the money we have donated and either build new schools or remodel current migrant schools.

Page 21: Labor Powerpoint by Tessa and Esther

Our Message-We believe that all children deserve the right to be educated, whether they are migrant children or local children. This factor shouldn’t affect whether they are able to learn or not. Even though a lot of children are being limited to have an education, we are determined to make a change to that. All of us are going to raise money by having fundraisers in order to keep all the schools in China right now. After our presentation our goal is to have everyone know about this and convince you to help make a difference.
