Zystm A/S

With a background of many years in this industry, we offer a range of products that has been thoroughly tested, based on holistic overall solutions. In collaboration with chosen sup-pliers, users, developers, and architects, it is our goal to conti-nuously develop our range, enabling us to always meet the market demands, and the expectations of the customers. The task of continously developing our range, takes place in our own department of development, which also develops special solutions in compliance with our customers’ requests.

Zystm is one of the largest suppliers of fixtures for laboratorys and hospitals in Scandinavia. Present catalogue concerns the laboratory range, which is gathered under the product group ZystmLab.

The laboratory programme of the Zystm concern, is produced in our factories in Herning and Bjerringbro, and is sold by our sa-les offices in Denmark and Norway, along with our collabora-tors abroad.

We regard the planning phase as being extremely significant, in our effort to live up to the expectations of our customers, and consequently, we have an organization with field specia-lists, who combined have more than 100 years of experience with the arrangement and planning of solutions for laborato-ries.

Furniture system without legs

Zystm 5 has no supporting legs. The leg free furniture system, is built around technical modules, where supplies for electricity and plumbing are hidden. Fixed cabinets, which can be freely moved horizontally from side to side within the module, are mounted in manually height adjustable support frames, or electrical raise/lower support frames. Very flexible and cleaning friendly system.

GMOThe system is prepared for GMO, and can easily be upgraded to meet this demand.

Product specification

Cabinet sides, upper and bottom are built in 19 mm durable melamine, backing is an 8 mm melamine coated board.

Admixture and cover are made in standard corpus color and material, but for an added cost it can be made with a surface of laminate.

All edges and surfaces on cabinets, are closed in regards to hygiene. Fur- thermore, the corpus front is equipped with a hollow sealing strip, ensuring a soft and closed impact on door and drawers.

Plinths are made in water-proof board, applied with 0.7 mm high pressure laminate on both sides, in the color dark grey. Plinths can be delivered as joint or single plinths.

Shelves are made in 12 or 19 mm chipboards, with surface in high pressure laminate or melamine. All edges are sealed with 1 mm synthetic bias bindings for optimal hygiene.

Light mouldings beneath top cabinets are processed in melamine covered board. All edges are sealed, light mouldings are offered in laminate covered board in front color for an added cost.

Zystm’s cabinet hinge is developed specifically for use in hospitals and laboratories. The hinge has been tested for a minimum of 200.000 openings and closings. It has an opening angle of 270°. The hinge is made of anodized aluminium that gives extra strength.

All cabinets are delivered as a standard with adjustable magnetic lock.

Door and drawer fronts are processed in 16 mm clipboard, applied with 0.7 mm laminate on front and back. To ensure impact-resistance and optimal hygiene, a 2 mm 3D alu/synthetic lipping is applied.

Glass doors are processed in MDF applied with laminate. The glass is glued into a frame-construction, which makes it both stable and very cleaning friendly.

Drawer for module insert is processed with solid front and cleaning friendly powder painted steel frame with 100% telescope slide and soft inlet.

Ordinary drawers are processed with powder painted steel sides, with bottom and back in melamine and 100% telescope slide with soft inlet. High drawers are delivered with railing in the depth of the cabinets.

Protected functional handle is made in solid aluminium, and follows the length of the front.Information signs can be added to the handle throughout the length, which gives optimal possibility for information on the content of the cabinets.

Cabinet fronts and additions can be delivered with magnetic laminate for an added cost.

Ventilation of chemical cabinets. The cabinets are provided with a ventilated pipe connection at the top of the cabinet with a diameter of Ø100 mm.

Light in cabinets are made of LED lights with on/off switch on door.

Light beneath cabinets are offered in a closed Zystm lighting panel, attached beneath the cabinets. This closed lighting channel is designed for areas with high demands in hygiene.

Worktops in laminate are processed in 28 mm clipboards applied with 0.7 mm laminate on surface and relief laminate on back. All edges are sealed with post shaped edges or edges in 2 mm ABS synthetic fabric. Contact Zystm for other table tops.

Drawers with 80% slide.

Drawers with 100% slide and soft close.

Telescope slides can be freely placed in a hollow rail attached to the cabinet side, the slide can be attached with shelves and modules as needed.

Module side in plastic with built-in stop and possibility for relief wheels. Multi mortises, with straight, slope, or tilt. The wheel can be dismantled for cleaning.

Bridge sign handles in cast material. The handle is made so numbering and description can be attached by using a 12 mm Dymo.

Ventilation in base units are supplied via a special hose and via flex or fixed connection.

Chemical cabinets are available with hinged doors or slide. With slide, 5 wired shelves are included as standard. You can buy extra baskets and bottom plates as needed.

The fume cupboard is height adjustable and can be used with advan-tage in situations that require cut and freeze incisions.When arranging worktops, Zystm can deliver standard modules ex. cutting and special coloring and liquid, solid, and sharp waste, can be placed almost freely in the depth and longitudinal direction of the worktop. This ensures the most optimal working space for the user.

The synthetic fabric front, is constructed with maximum access to the working space and into the back, where it is possible to mount a flat screen tv on a guideway rail.The door of the synthetic fabric is operated via an up/down button mounted in the operating box right beneath the worktop.By using photo equipment, this can be mounted outside the cubicle over the cutting space, which provides the most optimal images.The working space is maximum and evenly lit, but can be supplied with point lighting if needed.
