P.E. Teachers and Classroom Staff = qualified

Who Can Teach APE?

Developed over five years starting in 1991. Worked to develop standards for APE (15

total) May 1997 the first APENS test was given Requirements: BA in PE, 200 practicum

hours, 3 credits in APE Class, & valid teaching license.

No requirement to hire CAPE
