TRANSCRIPT
With an ever-increasing world population, finite natural resources, and increasing costs, sustainability is becoming a more common topic in our daily lives and businesses both large and small. The Certificate in Sustainable Leadership program is specifically designed to provide the foundational knowledge needed to become a sustainability professional in under one-year! Students will learn how to use systems thinking and problem-solving skills to gain a deeper understanding of the complexity of sustainability, which includes the economy, society, and environmental issues.
The online program is designed to be flexible and affordable to accommodate almost anyone interested in learning about sustainability. Students will take one three-credit course at a time which will help working professionals balance their school, work, and personal responsibilities along with providing time to focus on each course intensely. The program offers an ideal layout for a busy working professional, high school graduate, or someone who is looking to add a differentiating credential to their resume.
Students will learn:
The relationships between the three pillars of sustainability
The framework for sustainability
How to reduce operating costs
Current environmental problems
