Perhaps someone you know or
a loved one - so many friends &
family have been touched by
Breast Cancer so PLEASE do
your part this month by wear-
ing pink in support of Breast
Cancer.
Encourage your loved ones &
friends to get a Mammogram -
it could save their life!

A Note from the President
Greetings and Happy Fall,
Our WWS HOA Board of Directors meeting will be held on Tuesday, Oc-
tober 1st at 6pm. Residents who have concerns or issues may address the
board after the board finishes their business. There will be time allotted for
each individual to come up to the front of the room and speak to the board.
The board will then go into an executive session.
Our WWS HOA Membership Meeting will be held on Tuesday, October
8th, at 7pm. This will be an important meeting with upcoming elections.
The Nominating Committee will be introduced and any members desiring
to be a candidate for the board will need to contact one of these committee
members. The Nominating committee chairperson will present all the
names of all persons nominated by the committee at the November meet-
ing. Nominations will also be accepted from the floor and then nominations
will be declared closed. No further nominations will be accepted at the No-
vember meeting or at the December annual meeting. The membership
elects the board members and the board elects the positions. The positions
of President, 2nd Vice President and Treasurer are open this year.
I would like to take this time to thank Steve and Diann for volunteering and
fulfilling the social director’s position during the summer months and eve-
ryone who supported them. Nice job! As we all of aware of the growth of
the community and the busy schedule and dedication of trying to put
events, holidays, etc. together, we have come to realize that it is very diffi-
cult for only one or two people. We now have three ladies who are going to
be working together to keep things going, Margie McKeever, Marcia Nor-
man and Judy Winsko. Thank you ladies. We always need volunteers to
help so please attend the social committee or give them a call and offer
even an hour of your time. They also need you to support them in events,
breakfast, soup and salad, dinner dances, etc. Check your newsletters and
the bulletin board to see upcoming events.
A Meet and Greet will be held on Tuesday, October 15 at 1pm for new resi-
dents, 2pm for “old” residents. Invitations are going out to the new resi-
dents. Please bring your community book with you that you received in
your welcome package. The board will go over all the information in the
book and answer any questions you may have. They will also touch base
with information in your prospectus. Coffee and cake will be served to all.
Our monthly breakfast and soup and salad will resume this month. A Hal-
loween spaghetti dinner dance with DJ Steve as well as a pet parade is
planned to celebrate the holiday. Several fundraising events including our
“Chili Cook Off” are scheduled in honor of Breast Cancer month. Don’t
miss “The Last Chance Band” who will be playing at the clubhouse on Sat-
urday, October 5th. Details are in your newsletter and on the bulletin board.
Participate, support, volunteer and have fun.
See you around the community,
Pat Hickey, WWS HOA President
