Winter is coming to an end and Spring is in the air. And that always reminds me of music,

concerts, and beautiful women in Steampunk attire. It also brings thoughts of more photos shoots, fash-

ion shows, and exciting news for Ladies of Steam-punk coming down the road. Before we spill all the beans we want to share with you this month’s issue

of Ladies of Steampunk. This month’s cover model is Bad Charlotte, how-

ever she is anything but bad. This beautiful model has honored us by gracing our pages and we know you will love her steamy and steampunk’d photos.

Also, we were very lucky to meet Abney Park’s Jody Ellen last year at Steamstock. She is just as lovely in

person as she is in pictures. We hope you enjoy our sit down with her.

We recently attended a Steampunk Swap-Meet hosted by the Sacramento Steampunk Society. It was amazing to see the community come out and

support the culture. There were over 150 tables with authors, tinkers, jewelry makers, clothiers, and

everything under the sun I could think of needing for my steampunk costume. I had to watch my

wallet because I went to the event without enough money. There were also so many vendors there I

didn’t have enough time to talk to them all.Which brings to mind, if your organization is

planning a large event, expo, swap meet, or ball, let us know about it. We will be adding a new section

to the magazine highlighting some of the events happening around the world. The Ladies of Ste-ampunk might not be able to attend but we have

readers that live near you that will want know about your event.

Take two and call me in the morning,Dr. Belegana

My goodness! Here we are in March, which means the year is already a quarter over! I don’t mean to jump the gun here, but there are so many exciting things in store. Let’s begin with this issue, shall we?Late last year, during Steamstock 2012, we had the pleasure of meeting Samantha Stephenson and Scott Helland, better known to the world as FRENCHY & THE PUNK. Lovely folks in per-son, amazingly talented on stage, and right here for your reading pleasure! Of course, we have the continuing adventures of Captain Isabella, as well as a new chapter in the “Sword of the West” saga by the intrepid Muffy Morrigan. If you’ve missed the previous installments of either story, fear not! Our previous publications are still readily available via Magcloud.com. Oh, did I mention Kato? Where are my manners? Yes, the always charming Kato returns with a most delightful guest: Katsuni. She has some VERY big news for those of you who have been waiting oh so patiently for the coming of “SteamGirl”. But why are you here reading my ramblings when you could be neurally stimulated by the lady herself? Go! Peruse, my friends! If you have been paying attention to our Facebook page, you’ll know that we’ve had some big news of our own, in the form a a coffee table book chock full of nearly everything we’ve presented up to now, and some new works that we’ve been saving for just this occasion. But that’s not all! There’s more, to be announced on a later date. We are filled to the brim with excitement, and cannot wait to make it official!

Until then, may the following pages tide you over. Rest assured, the April issue of Bronze Age is al-ready underway. Enjoy!

Fondest wishes,Dr. Carswell
