Happy Anniversary Steampunkers!

In this issue we celebrate by offering everyone a new and exciting article that we hope you will

love and tell your friends about. GENTELMEN’S CORNER is our opportuni-

ty to open the magazine up to men’s fashion. This regular article will bring our readers what is cool and hot in the steampunk community as to what some of the best dressed men in our community are wearing. And hopefully give you inspiration

for your own Steampunk attire.

This month we have the very dapper and fashion-able Tony Ballard-Smoot. His work has ap-

peared in another fantastic Steampunk magazine, Gearhearts Steampunk Glamour Review. This

handsome chap makes steampunk look good and we are very pleased to have him grace our pages

for this first in Ladies of Steampunk’s history and hopefully many more to come.

Speaking of many more to come, which is where you come in. If you know a fashionable steam-

punk man that you feel needs to be in our pages let them know. Or you can send us a note on our

Facebook page and let us do the footwork. We are on the hunt and looking for some of the best-dressed handsome men in the steampunk and we

know you have seen them out there.

So, here we are... a year in and we have more to come. We are still working as hard as ever, more

photo shoots, more magazines, and even an up-coming podcast is in the works... stay tuned.

This issue, dear readers, marks our first year in publication! We here at Ladies of Steam-punk are beyond elated. YOU make this maga-zine, and thanks to your endearing support we are still here, preparing for bigger and better!

As mentioned in the August issue of Bronze Age, we are celebrating Halloween a bit early this month as the lovely Jin N Tonic returns, fangs bared! Several very talented individuals came together to make this shoot happen. I wish to give a huge thanks to Butterfly Frillies, Feathery Leathery, Firebird Fae, and Kraken Whip for lending their beautiful wares for her stunning costume. They made our vampire come to life!

The gorgeous Carmina Holloway, whom you’ve met in our 2012 Calendar (Sherlock Holmes), re-turns to bring us a sexy interpretation of Edgar Allan Poe’s immortal poem “The Raven”.

Of special note: if you’ve not yet read my col-league Dr. Belegana’s intro, you will also en-counter something new within these pages...GENTLEMAN’S CORNER. Depending on how well it is received, we will expand to in-clude articles and interviews, which will hope-fully lead to a Gents of Steampunk Magazine at some point. We look forward to hearing your feedback.

Well, that about does it for now, which means it’s back to the grindstone. We shall meet again next month as we celebrate Halloween officially. And, oh, have we got some devilish delights in store for you!
