Lakes are intrinsically tied to the very idea of Bhopal. They

come in all shapes, sizes and depths; and each one has a

legend of its own. Lakes are neither rough like seas nor

treacherous like rivers. There’s lot more you can do with them

than just taking a stroll by the side. There can be professional

activities like aero modelling and yachts; with plenty of

amateur fun in between like kite-flying - and even something

as wildly rustic as a Tonga Race on the banks. Then there’s

other kind of fun that comes with no strings attached. Like

food festivals, cultural extravaganza, folk dances & Musical

Nights with lakes providing just the perfect chill and romance.

This is only a little of what Bhopal Lake Festival will have! The

time couldn’t be more appropriate too. After a long winter

hibernation there’s an urge to hit the outdoors. Bhopal Lake

Festival is the invitation to step out and come to the shores

you are familiar with. To know your lakes even better!

It’s time to celebrate the Lakes of Bhopal.

Gala fun and enrichment!
