The Board of Directors of Slate Valley Teen Center, Inc. invites applications for the position of Director of the “Loft 89” teen center facility located in Fair Haven, VT. The director will collaborate with a team of committed citizens in the development of this recently-opened facility. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience managing a youth center required. The ideal candidate would bring knowledge of best practices in youth center management and experience implementing them. Primary responsibilities will include:

• On-site direction of the Loft 89 facility, during open hours, currently Thursday PM, Friday PM, and Saturday afternoon - PM.

• Routine management, including light bookkeeping and file management. • Recruiting, training, and supervision of center staff and volunteers. • Developing and coordinating suitable programming, including educational

and civic programs to meet the SVTC, Inc. mission. • Event planning/fundraising for the operating budget.
