MAMA! Save Your Son!
Special Edition LAMP NEWSLETTER 1 | PAGE
Dear Readers,
I come to you with a broken heart concerning our boys and young men. I am upset. Yes, deeply troubled and concerned. It hurts me to see and hear about what is happening to the boys and young men who are dying…BEING KILLED!
They are dying in our streets, schools, malls, in their homes, in their cars, parks, on the school playgrounds, at parties, friend’s backyard, on their jobs…everywhere…and in the arms of their loved ones. Sadly and painfully,
hundreds have died in the arms of their own mamas!
NUMEROUS sons killed. Mama, he was your baby… he laid his soft baby head on your breast to sleep in a safe place… Your son who sucked your breast milk… He is shot… and he now lays his bloody head on your breast and DIES!
MAMA! SAVE YOUR SON! God is calling for the mothers to stand up and save your son or sons from this world of
destruction and violence. He wants you to rescue them when they are babies. You must make a plan for their lives before they come out of your womb. Trust God! Hold onto His Holy Word. Pray and have faith for them to be protected in the midst of this evil and corrupted world.
In the Bible, Exodus chapter 2, we read about the birth of Moses. His mother was a Hebrew woman named Jochebed. She was married to a Levite named Armram. They had two other children, Miriam and Aaron.
They were Hebrews or Jews living in Egypt. Although we know that Egypt became a land of bondage for the Jews, it wasn’t that way for many years during the lifetime of Joseph’s reign as king. He cared for the people and he was a man of God. However, when Jospeh died, things changed. The new king was angered to see the continuous births of Hebrew mothers having baby boys. The king did not like that because he feared that these baby boys would grow up to overthrow his kingdom. He was greatly possessed and feared that they would join an army and become enormous and strong.
2 | P A G E L A M P N E W S L E T T E R Special Edition
THE KING’S EVIL PLAN The king’s plan was to kill all of the baby boys. He wanted the midwives, who were
helping the Hebrew mothers give birth to their babies, to kill the male child. So, these Egyptian nurses or midwives were given this assignment by order of the king. Just think how horrible this was at that time…well, at anytime. The Jewish baby boy was the target! The command was to get rid of them! KILL THE BOYS!
MAMA’S PLAN But, Jochebed, Moses’ mama wasn’t going to have that happen to a baby boy! When she
gave birth to him, she set her plan in order! She cried out to God about her male child, Moses, because she saw how fair he looked…her eyes saw beyond him being a baby or a boy. She saw something deeper and rare in him. So she moved into action!
Mama Jochebed decided to save her baby boy’s life. She constructed a special little cradle boat that she made strong and waterproof. I know that she anointed it and made sure that God’s hands were upon it. She prayed and put Moses in it.
What a day it was when she bravely walked all of the way down to the Nile River with baby Moses in her safe cradle called “the ark.” Along with her came his sister, little Miriam looking and watching what was going on! They quietly came to the edge of the river and with a prayer, Mama released her son into that water.
I know that fear wanted to rip her heart out of her. Satan was telling her all the ugly things he could throw at her. He tried to make her feel as miserable as he could! But, she put her trust in God and believed that all would go well.
Mama Jochebed had to completely depend on God. She knew that what God would do would be far, far better and safer than keeping Moses at home with them. She knew that the king was enraged and would do all he could to kill him! She was not looking back at fear, but looking ahead to hope! She was not looking back at destruction and death, but life!
THE CLOSE OF PART I Readers, I am leaving you here. We will come back to this story because God has a lot to
say concerning….MAMA! SAVE YOUR SON! In the September issue of the Lamp Newsletter, we will pick it up from here. Also Coming in September: Minister Mary Edwardsʹ enlightening article ‐ ʺA Basket Caseʺ

FIRST LADY CHRISTINE V. MITCHELL United Kingdom, London, Minisitry Leader
Greetings Dear Saints:
What a blessing it is to know Jesus! How wonderful that through Him we have a relationship with God our Father and know that He cares for us, His children, just as we care for our children.
Our children also belong to Him… and as we place them before God in prayer ‐ from BEFORE they are born, WHEN they are born, and
KEEP them in prayer, as we watch them grow ‐ we will see God’s purpose and plan unfold.
As believers, it is so very important to keep Christ at the centre of our lives, through the Word and prayer, and to do as the scripture says, “train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old, he will not depart from it” (Proverbs 22:6).
The theme in today’s newsletter focuses on mothers and sons. Dear mothers, we MUST claim our children for Christ. When the Lord is in control, and His hand is on their lives, NOTHING that the enemy tries can change God’s purpose and plan for them.
The thinking of this world is not according to God’s ways. The media and society are filled with distractions that lead many on a downhill path. Brothers and sisters, our young men need to hear God’s word, for the scripture says, “How can a young person stay on the path of purity? By living according to Your word” (Psalm 119:9 NIV).
The scriptures are full of godly advice for young men and young women to help them live a righteous life. When God is honoured in the lives of young people, everything else falls into place, and that includes them knowing His choice of partner for them.
Just to share a little of my experience, my husband and I give God all the honour and praise for our children. By the grace of God, and His grace alone, He has helped us to nurture our sons (as well as our daughters) with the teaching of principles from the Word of God that have kept them. That’s not to say we (or they) are perfect. I am so thankful to God for His working in their lives. God has helped us teach our sons the importance of showing honour and respect in every area of their lives, and especially in regard to women. It’s good for us mums especially to impress this on our sons, seeing we are women! Mums and sons (as well as fathers and daughters) have a unique relationship.
We thank God for blessing our eldest son with a beautiful wife and two lovely children, and for blessing our second son who is now engaged to be married! Above all, we are so thankful that our children have a personal relationship with Jesus; we have truly seen His will unfolding in their lives.
God only asks that we honour Him in our lives, as parents, and teach our children His ways. HE does the work in their hearts.
Through faith in God, Moses’ mother took action that saved his life, knowing that God had a special purpose for her son… proof that when we, through faith, place our children before God, one day, ONE DAY… we will see God work.. and we’ll look back ‐ AMAZED!
Look at what happened to Moses! On the day that God called him, his life changed ‐ FOREVER

My poem “Holy Fire” is based on the story of Moses and how he may have thought .. and felt .. on that awesome day ‐ when God called Him…….
~ Holy Fire ~
That fire burns within me What’s that over yonder? His awesome voice is calling. He’s given me life anew. This sight I surely must see. He calls me by my name. His holy staff I’ll lean on Burning in the distance, His love is so enthralling. to take His people through. its glory beckons me. I bow, I feel ashamed. Forever I am changed. I can’t wait any longer. His fire burns so holy This task I now must face, I really need to know and yet does not consume. but in His strength I’ll go – what keeps the fire burning I thank Him for His mercy.
with pure and holy glow. My life I can’t resume. trusting daily in His grace.
I’ll climb the holy mountain. I’ve seen a glimpse of glory. --o0o-- I’ll reach for higher heights. I’ve heard Him say to me,
I’ll do whatever it takes “Your life will be a story. © 2014 Christine V Mitchell ‐ All Rights Reserved to view the glorious light. Go set my people free.”
I’ll cast aside my burden; I falter and I fumble I stutter and I stall. unshackle now my feet.
Before Him, I am humbled His presence now surrounds me. that MY name He should call. In Him, I am complete.

Iʹd love to share my poem with you ‐ with much love, Sandra x
I wrote this for Tari when her son Jordan was born with brain dar labour resulting in Spastic Cerebral Palsy. Jordan was born technically dead, but put on life
support until he could breathe alone, something which doctors thought he would never do! Over the years I watched Tari struggle, valiantly raising Jordan. But she always came out of every struggle victoriously. Eventually, God showed me that Jordanʹs birth and disability was not a tragedy but rather an opportunity for God to do the extraordinary by turning it into a victory!

Immediately, my grandbaby was confirmed I was IN! I loved this child instantly the moment I knew he was THERE, with the kind of love only a mother or a grandmother can possess! My weary soul bore the hope for the solution. The love within my heart gave birth to this poem. God gave me the title and inspired words. It tells the story of how only HE can turn the ordinary into the extraordinary! God chose Tari to be an extraordinary mother for her extraordinary son. Today Tari is married with four children, and Jordan is now 23 years old ... Itʹs been an amazing journey ~

See Your Blessing Manifest
By Author Ramelle T. Lee
Meditation Message: I Samuel 12:16 KJV “Now therefore stand and see this great thing, which the LORD will do before
your eyes.ʺ
You have been on a course that has taken you through dips and turns. Many different paths have forced you to make detours in your existence. It's time that you stand right in the midst of your present situation and clap your hands to God. Why would you do this now? Because your immediate situation is about to make a major adjustment. You are about to witness a manifestation that you have longed for in your life. Watch God give you a complete 360 degree turn, in your freedom to soar like an eagle. You have awaited the change that a new
day has come. You have awaited the time when a refreshing has been given to you straight from heaven's door. You have awaited the announcement that something good is about to happen to you.
So, you think that God has forgotten His promise to you? Do you think that life will never be any different for you? Do you believe that God will instantly change the atmosphere and surroundings so that you can witness that your blessing is right in

front of you? Start to expect a miracle to happen! Start to feel the winds all around you swirl in blessed expectation. You are about to discover the door to your hope springing wide open.
So, you think that you can't be satisfied and pleased at where you are headed in the fullness of time? God has opened your eyes and given you a vision of where you are going. He has clearly given you the opportunity to walk right into the place of change that you desire.
Many have predicted that you would not win this battle! Many have laughed in their spirit and joked that you will never be where your heart desires. But God has the ultimate word. He has sent you a sign that the winds of change have turned in your favor. Start to make plans in your spirit, to switch from uncertainty to a place of rest and excitement. You can shout for joy that God has answered your prayer. You can lift up your voice in praise and give Him the glory for changing your course of direction. You will not stay in the place of unrest. You will not stay in the place of fear and anxiety. God has positioned you for the palace and given you the key to open up the right door of your blessing.
Stay focused and stay committed to spiritually remain humble in the sight of the Lord. He will exalt you and give you the ability to watch your enemies be pushed back into the darkness. The light of your countenance will shine brightly as God prepares your heart for major change. Keep your eyes peeled to the sky and watch the supernatural power of the Holy Spirit lift you up and place you in the position of your inheritance. The dream is real. The blessing has already been prepared. The door has opened to you. Walk right in and sit with royalty, as God has already ordained for you. You have been given the scepter and mantle of grace that you deserve. The crown jewels of blessing have been laid upon your shoulders. You have now been given the opportunity to walk before kings and show the world that the favor of God has been awarded to you this day!
