Purpose of the Land Use Study Funded by Department of Economic Opportunity

RR-WE Zoning District

Wheeler Estates -Rural Residential (RR-WE) zoning district establishes:
Minimum lot sizes, dwelling units sizes, setbacks, and lot coverage for the community (to eliminate inconsistencies between A-3 and RG-1 zoning)
Schedule of permitted uses to include non-commercial keeping of livestock, in addition to current horticultural activities
Continues to prohibit mobile homes and Recreational Vehicles
Addresses PUD process for non-residential uses (such as recreation)
Provides for required public information meetings for zoning actions, land use changes, etc.
