The Arc de Triomphe

• It is located in Paris, France.

It was built to celebrate the glory of Napoleon I. and the glory of the French army.

Building was started in 1806 and finished in 1836.

It can be found at the end of Champs-Élysées.

The Leaning Tower of Pisa

• It is located in Pisa, Italy.

Building was started in 1173 and lasted for 200 years.

Legend says that Galileo Galilei proved his falling speed theory here.

Reconstructions started in 1991 and finished in 2001. The Tower is said to be safe for another 300 years.

The Golden Gate Bridge

• It is located in San Fransisco, USA.

It is the second biggest suspension bridge in the United States.

Building was started in 1933 and finished in 1937.

It is designed in Art Deco style, and the bridge is continuously being renewed.

Podvorie Restaurant

• It is located in Pavlovsk, Russia.

It took 10 years to complete the building of the restaurant.

Delicious traditional Russian dishes and the best Russian drinks are served here.

It is a very popular place and is often visited by famous personalities, eg. president Putin.

La Pyramide at the Louvre Museum

• It is located in Paris, France.

It was designed by Ieoh Ming Pei.

Building was started in 1984 and finished in 1989.

It is the entrance of the Louvre Museum.

The Guggenheim Museum

• It is located in New York, USA.

It was designed by Frank Lloyd Wright.

The musem was opened in 1959.

The museum is the home of a valuable collection of Impressionist, Post-Impressionist, Modern and Contemporary art.

Hampton Court Palace

• It is located in London, England.

It is a royal palace, but the royal family have not lived here since the 18th century.

It was built in 1514.

It has 60 acres of gardens and 750 acres of royal parkland.

Home of the Hampton Court Palace Flower Show.

• It is located in Washington D.C., USA.

It was designed by an Irish architect, James Hoban.

Building was started in 1792.

It is visited by 5,000 people per day.

• It is located in Budapest, Hungary.

Building was started in 1885 and finished in 1904.

About 40 million bricks were built in.

The Parliament has 27 gates, 13 elevators and 242 sculptures.

• It can be found in Budapest, Hungary.

It is originally called the Széchenyi Chain Bridge.

Building was started in 1839 and finished in 1849.

It was designed by William Tierney Clark.
