For 30 years, our portfolio of products has helped shape the group travel sector.
Launching the first national group travel magazine and instigating the first nationally recognised
association for group travel (GTOA, now AGTO) were our first steps into giving a voice to our
industry. Over the years, our reputation for innovation has led us to launch other successful
initiatives such as The Group Travel Awards and more recently the GO Travel Show.
We hope our information pack gives you new ideas and inspiration for targeting the group travel
sector as well as the wider travel trade.

GTO MAGAZINE
Our magazine remains at the core of our route to market for anyone wanting to reach key group travel buyers. Throughout the year, we run features addressing subjects of particular interest to GTOs, presented at the most appropriate decision-making times.
The prestigious awards Launched in 1997, The Group Travel Awards are decided by the readers of GTO magazine and have earned an enviable reputation as the most distinguished and respected event serving the group travel market; they reflect a highly valued endorsement from customers in this most important market sector.
The categories vary from Best West End Production, to Best Historic House or Garden to Best Coach Operator and Ocean Cruise Line Operator, and reward the companies, attractions and suppliers from throughout the group travel industry who have provided excellent service to groups over the last twelve months.
The 2020 Group Travel Awards will take place on Thursday 3rd September at The Park Plaza Riverbank Hotel. The winners in each category are carefully kept under wraps until the announcement is made by our host during the glittering awards ceremony.

• A table of 10 at the gala presentation evening
• Corporate profiling that puts your brand and values in the spotlight with logos and profiles, through to high profile branding at the awards ceremony and supporting marketing literature; in print, online and via e-communications
• A starring role at the ceremony by presenting your award in front of 400 group travel professionals
• Photo opportunity with your category winner and the awards host
• Post-event coverage in The Group Travel Awards Review supplement, which will be published with the next issue of GTO magazine
• Exposure online at www.grouptravelawards.com and across our social media channels via Twitter, LinkedIn and Facebook.
Landor’s reputation for innovation has led us to launch a wide range of regional group travel exhibitions and forums. Our exhibitions attract GTOs and Tour Operators from all parts of the UK and our current portfolio includes:
South West Group Travel Show Now in its ninth year, this free admission show took place on Thursday 30th January 2020 at We The Curious, Bristol, providing group travel organisers and members of the travel trade with new inspiration for places to visit and things to do with their groups - including historical visits, educational tours, literacy links,
boat trips, summer breaks and much more. The show takes place annually in January or February at different interesting venues in the West Country - providing a fantastic opportunity for GTOs to discuss their group requirements face-to-face.
For more details please contact Sarah Jeffery on 01424 572088 or email [email protected]
GO Travel Show The fifth GO Travel Show London will take place at Kempton Park Racecourse, Surrey on Thursday 10th September 2020, following last year’s very successful event held at the same venue. In 2019 our mission was to GO further, GO bigger and GO boldly where other exhibition organisers haven’t gone before! We achieved this with our best GO Travel Show yet, featuring stands from an incredible array of attractions, as well as performers, fam trips and immersive experiences to keep both young and old entertained throughout the day.
Group travel buyers, travel trade professionals, tour and coach operators are invited to attend the free show to discover the latest news and ideas for inspirational travel programmes from a range of travel trade suppliers – from accommodation providers and cruise operators to destinations and visitor centres and a host more.

Annual meetings Our annual meeting in November has drawn up to 100 people each year and, in the last four years, we have added additional gatherings at the Best of Britain and Ireland show in March, World Travel Market in November and on the day of the Group Travel Awards in June.
Our mission The underlying mission of the forum is to help support those working directly with the groups market, share expertise and best practice amongst them and present a greater understanding of the groups business to others in the travel and tourism world.
As well as regular pages in GTO magazine we also have a dedicated website www.grouptravelbusinessforum.com.
For group travel professionals The Group Travel Business Forum has been in existence for over 10 years as an informal grouping of professionals who specialise in providing products and services to the group travel and tourism market.
It was established in recognition of the fact that the voice of group travel as a distinct sector of the industry is often missing in discussions with official bodies and in meetings of other professionals in the field, and the exchange of expertise and knowledge between group specialists can be very beneficial to both individuals and the sector as a whole.
