The Newsletter will also be available on the school website, as before. If you still wish to receive a paper copy, some will be available for students to collect from the main reception foyer each Friday morning. Thank you for your support with our drive for economy and sustainability. If you would like us to change the main parent or carer, please update us by sending a message to [email protected]. Y7 Dovedale Trip Can we remind Year 7 parents that the final payment for the Dovedale trip should be with us today, Friday 11 th June. There is still time for any last minute payments to be made on Monday please. Miss Tonks’ Marie Curie Challenge

Thank you to everyone who supported Miss Tonks through sponsorship of her

commendable achievements at the Stratford Triathlon recently. She would like to

thank everyone for their encouragement and was delighted to be able to pass

the sum of £466.40 to Marie Curie to support the good work they do in Solihull.

Badminton Club – Years 7 & 8

“After our great success this year in the Schools’ Badminton Competition, I am

hoping to set up a club for Years 7 and 8 for boys and girls. We need to strengthen

our team and I am really looking to introduce new players and offer them training

to improve their badminton skills. If you are interested in joining us, then come

along to the Sports Hall at 12.45pm on Wednesday lunchtime to give it a go!”

Collect an order form from Miss Struthers, Mrs Attenborrow or the school office and

return to the Activities Collection Box.

Saturday 19 June – ‘On Your Bike Day’ 11am-3pm

Solihull Council are arranging a day to focus on bikes in Tudor Grange Park. This

includes a range of weird and wonderful bikes to entertain you, advice and

guidance on cycle maintenance and repairs and cycle training for both

adults and children - whether an introduction or confidence-boosting.

Advance Notice – Y7 Academic Mentoring – Friday 2nd July

An early entry for your diary or calendar – the final session of review mornings will

take place on Friday 2nd July. This is the programme for 1:1 mentoring and Y7

students will be given an allotted time to meet their mentors between 8.40am –

9.25am. Students in Years 8, 9 and 10 will be asked to register with their form tutors

at 9.25am. Thank you in anticipation of your support.

Overdue Library Books

Can students check bags, lockers and at home for overdue library books and

return them to the library, as a matter of urgency please! Thank you.
