POLYTEXPolytex is a 3-strand or 4-strand twisted polypropyleen rope with extra UV-stabilization. Langman Ropes polytex is

made of special developed yarns which makes this rope very well abrasion resistant. Because of the very high abrasion

resistance and excellent UV-resistance this polypropyleen rope is used a lot for the running rigging on classic ships.

Besides this, our polytex ropes is also used as a more durable alternative rope in the scouting for pioneering.

Langman Ropes polyester comes in a twisted and braided construction and is made of high tenacity (high quality)

yarns. Langman Ropes polyester rope is very good uv-resistant and has relatively low elongation. Polyester rope is

used for a wide variety of applications, but it’s mostly used in the shipping industry and other industrial applications.

In braided constructions it is used a lot as mooring line and towing line. The twisted construction is often used as

halyard ropes on tall ships. In the industry pre-stretched polyester rope is also used a lot as hoistrope.

In addition polyester rope can also be used for decorative applications outside, because of the very good uv-resistance.

Besides that, polyester rope can also be made fi re retardent according to the dutch NEN 6065 building rules.

In short, a rope for applications where a low elongation and a high uv-resistant are important.

The original Hempex® by Langman Ropes! Our Hempex® has a better UV-resistant and is stronger than other

alternatives in the market. The constructions are 3-strand, 4-strand, bolt rope (long lay) twisted or 8-strand braided.

Hempex® is the registered trademark of Langman Ropes.

Because of the natural look, Hempex® is often used as a synthetic alternative to hemp rope. Because of this, a lot

of decorative applications outside are possible, where the natural ropes are desired but due to the low life-time not

usable.

Hempex® rope is used for a wide variety of applications. In the yachting industry and classic boats it is used a lot as

sheet and halyard rope. Besides, Hempex® rope is also used a lot for the wind mills as cervical rope, twin rope or bolt

rope. In the scouting, Hempex® is used a lot as pioneering rope. Also for the mounting of hammocks it is often used.

4-strand construction. P.O.S.H. rope is good UV-resistant and has a low elongation. Because of the good UV-resistance,

Langman Ropes Polypropylene Splitfi lm is a 3-strand twisted polypropyleen rope. We supply the top quality which is

a lot stronger as the regular ‘orange diy store’ nylon rope. This type of rope is used for a wide variety of applications.

So is this rope used a lot as a hoist rope, fl oating line, different twines and packaging rope, rope for ladder, pull rope

or as a transit line to pull all kinds of cables. Besides all these industrial applications it is also used as a pioneering

(knotting) rope.

PE SPUNPORTLangman Ropes Spunport is a double braided (braid on braid) polyester rope. The cover is 16- or 24-braided, the core

has a 16-braided construction. Because of the spun polyester cover, the spunport rope is soft/hairy, which results in an

excellent grip. Because of this double braided (braid on braid) construction, the spunport rope is very fl exible and easy

to splice. Spunport rope is used a lot as a sheet rope in the watersports, yachts or in classic (beige) look as a sheet

rope on tall ships. Besides it is also very good to use as a hoistrope in for examples theaters as it has a soft grip/touch.

Spunline is a double braided polyester rope. The cover is a 32-braided combination of spun and fi lament polyester

yarns. The spun yarns gives the line a classic look and good grip. The high tenacity polyester yarns give the line a high

strength and a low elongation. The core is a tandem braided polyester which gives the line strength. This high strength

and good grip makes the Spunline an excellent sheet.

PESPUNMAXThe classic performance line SpunMax has a 32- braided cover of spun- and fi lament polyester yarns.

This combination of materials and the dark brown/brass colour gives this line a robust traditional look.

The spun yarns makes that this line has a good grip. High tenacity polyester yarns gives the line a high strength and

low elongation. The core is made of a braided UHMWPE Dyneema which gives the line strength and low elongation.

POSEIDONLangman Ropes Poseidon is a pre-stretched classic halyard rope.

The cover is 16- or 24 braided (depending on the diameter), the core has a 16-braided construction. Due to our pre-

stretch and coating machine, the elongation of our poseidon lines has extremely been reduced and the breaking load

increased. Due to the double braided (braid on braid) construction the poseidon lines are good spliceable. Poseidon

lines are used a lot as classic halyard rope on classic ships, yachts, tall ships, fi shing boats, fl at boats.

construction. Because of this double braided (braid on braid) construction, our Hamilton rope is very fl exible and easy

to splice. Hamilton rope is used a lot as sheet rope in the watersports, on classic yachts, but it is also used a lot as a

hoistrope.

production of our ropes there is no emissions to air, water or soil.

Our natural ropes are nowadays widely used for rigging classic vessels,

but also in the sports industry it is frequently used as a climbing ropes,

PE MANILAManila rope is a natural rope. Langman Ropes manila is produced of a high quality raw material, grade 1 yarns.

The construction is 3-strand twisted, but other constructions are possible and on request! Manila rope used to be

carried in the shipping industry as a ship rope a lot. As nowadays it is still used in the shipping industry but also in the

yachting industry for rigging classic ships. Besides this, manila rope is used a lot as pull rope, bannister rope, ship

rope, skirting rope and twines. Because of the natural look, manila is also a perfect decoration rope / ship rope.

PESISALSisal rope is a natural rope. Langman Ropes sisal is produced of a white, high quality sisal yarn. This yarn is extracted

from the agave plant. The construction is standard 3-strand twisted. Sisal rope is, in the thinner diameters, mainly

used as cat scratching posts rope. Because of the rough structure it is perfect for the cats. An offi cial pull rope is,

in 4-strand twisted construction, also made from sisal. Because of the rough structure sisal is also used as twines.

Besides this, sisal rope is also used for all kind of decorative applications.

Launches and motorboats become for decoration and protection a fender with or

without a hand knitted bow fender. Langman supplies there fenders to well-known

yacht brokers in The Netherlands and abroad.

For our fenders we use special developed polypropylene yarns which are made from

a high quality. These yarns are provided with a high UV-resistance which protects

the fender against sunlight. That is why Langman Fenders are very good to use in

countries with a high UV-level. Langman exports there Fenders to many of these

countries. All the fenders and bow fenders are provided with a unique tracking

number.

All steel parts in and outside the Langman fenders are made from high quality stainless

steel. We use standard AISI316, which is marine water-durable quality.

Fenders and bow fenders were carried out traditionally in coconut fibre rope. To ensure

this traditional look, our yarns are manufactured with the old brown coconut colour. By the

increasing question of modern coloured fenders and bow fenders, is nowadays also black

a standard colour.

Our fenders and bow fenders are handmade by our professional employees and therefore

we can also supply, besides our standard delivery program, to your specifications.
