The Fife and Drum led the soldiers into battle. They were always at the forefront of the battle scenes.

In Williamsburg the Magazine was used to keep artillery for the soldiers during the American Revolution.

Here are other supplies for the soldiers and the Fife & Drum.

The rifles and muskets can be seen lined up along the walls.

These were other muskets and possible bayonets.

These were the muskets with the bayonets attached to the ends.

These were different types of defense weapons attached to the end of the bayonets on riffles.

What a typical soldier may have worn during the American Revolution War.

We learned how difficult it was to march and learn how to load a weapon.

The soldiers had to march in line and unison to confront their enemies.

This would have been a soldier’s camp.

These were the how big the tents were and how they would have been lined up.

One tent accommodated up to eight soldiers.

The weather many times would have been rainy and cold.

This is Yorktown, the place where Cornwallis surrendered.

This may have been a General in the army.

What a soldier expected…

This was the outside kitchen area of a soldier’s campground.

Soldier’s did not wash their clothes often. Many times their wives would join them because the wanted to be close to their husbands. Their job was to wash all soldier’s laundry. This would happen once a month.

Not many soldiers rode horses, perhaps only generals did so.

These could have been the area that led to the Medic of the camp. If soldiers were hurt they would come here.
