THE LANSON FAMILY

Since 1760, there have been a number of brave, passionate entrepreneurs who have

developed and brought the Lanson brand to the world. From the first owner, François

Delamotte, through to the current owner, Philippe Baijot, all those involved have

worked tirelessly to develop famous cuvées and helped the House of Lanson become the

world-renowned brand it is today.

François Delamotte

A UNIQUE STYLE

All our bottles are aged for a minimum of three years

Unlike many other Champagne Houses, Champagne Lanson has a non-malolactic style ensuring a mouth-watering taste with exceptional purity of fruit

Made with the highest quality grapes from Grand and Premier Cru vineyards

All bottles feature their disgorgement date, which marks the end of the maturation process and our commitment to transparency

CHAMPAGNE BESSERAT DE BELLEFON

Besserat de Bellefon was founded in 1843 in Ay by Edmond Besserat, who created champagnes for leading hotels, restaurants and purveyors

of fine wines. Edmond’s vision was continued by his son, Victor Besserat, who in 1930 took up the challenge laid down by the Director of a distinguished Parisian

restaurant, the Samaritaine de Luxe, to craft a delicate and lightly sparkling champagne as a perfect accompaniment to fine dining. This marked the birth of the Cuvée

des Moines range named in tribute to the Benedictine monks who first mastered the techniques of fermenting champagne.

The Cuvée des Moines range uses a lower dosage – reducing pressure in the bottle and resulting in tiny bubbles, a very fine mousse and a creamier texture. The

bubbles of Besserat de Bellefon champagnes are 30% finer than those of traditional champagnes.

Cédric Thiébault, whose roots lie in the Champagne region, is one of the region’s most promising Cellar Masters. He joined Besserat de Bellefon

in 1999 and spent seven years perfecting his knowledge of the House’s unique style with a team of oenologists in Epernay. In 2006 he was entrusted with the

position of Cellar Master.
