BIM CONNECTION

Because Lantek Steelworks is integrated with Building Inormation Modeling systems, such as Tekla Structures, it drasticallyreduces programming time and eliminates rework. Structural components rom the BIM Detail are imported and the progress othe project is automatically updated in the model.

PROJECT SETUP

Dene chapters, phases, cost centers (materials, manuacturing,

labor, outsourcing, etc.) and activities in a single way.

Establish standard templates, classication systems, and work

centers.

Display the project portolio in user-dened views with indicators

o progress, cost, and weight to suite your project process and

eliminate non-value added work.

Dene the resources that will become a part o the project:

employees, subcontractors, work centers, materials, groups, etc. For

each resource, you assign specic criteria such as: perormance,

weight, unit, and a capacity per time period.

BUDGET

Manage dierent versions o the budget and compare actual costs

against the budget at any time.

Calculate the weight and cost, by chapter, rom measurements

taken rom the design and based on the perormance o the cost

Lantek Flex3d Steelwork includes 2D and 3D design, CNCprogramming o proles, integration with third party structural

design sotware, and ERP capabilities to control costs and

optimize return on investment. This module, when integrated

with the Lantek Flex3d Steelwork system, acilitates the 3DCAD/CAM design and cutting o standard proles including:I, U, L, H, T, and square or round tubes. The automatic and

semi-automatic eatures o the 3D nesting sotware maximize

the use o materials and optimize the CNC code with collision

avoidance technology as well as sae and ecient cutting

operations on a wide range o machinery such as: sawing,drilling, punching, tapping, marking, oxycut, and plasma

equipment.

CAD/CAM 2D

Lantek Expert is a specially designed CAD/CAM solutionthat automates cutting machine programming such as:

oxy-cut, plasma, laser, and water jet. It is the result o over25 years o Lantek experience in close collaboration withmachine tool manuacturers and users. Lantek Expertully adapts to the technology o each dierent machine
