Laporan Amali: Aim : To understand the steps in scientific investigation. Apparatus : Electronic stopwatch, retort stand, pendulum bob, and meter rule. Materials : Long thread, split cork. Hypothesis : The oscillation period directly proportional to the length of the pendulum. Variables : Which is, a. Constant: Number of oscillation b. Manipulated: Pendulum length Procedure : 1. The correct way of using and reading an electronic stopwatch is learnt from the teacher. 2. A simple pendulum of 30 cm length is prepared as shown in the diagram. 3. The pendulum bob is swung slightly and the time taken for 10 complete oscillation is observed. 4. The time taken for one complete oscillation is calculated. 5. Step two and step three are repeated by using deferent pendulum lengths. 6. A graph between the pendulum length and oscillation period is drawn. Observations : Kump. 12 1
