Glamour t i m eLas Vegas again proved to be the place to be for US inspired designs
The 24-28 January Las Vegas Marketproved it was not only North Africandeserts that were worth paying attentionto, with a wide variety of US inspiredstyles.
As is usual, more classical cabinetdesigns pre-dominated but in upholsteryEuropean looks were more in evidence –although still out numbered by largetraditional US shapes.
Visitor numbers grew by 9% comparedthe January 2010 show and by 25%compared with the previous summerexhibition.
‘There was a sense of “let's play to win”.It was probably our strongest market inLas Vegas, both in terms of attendanceand sales, in three years,’ says RobertMaricich, World Market Center Las Vegaspresident and ceo. ‘The energy waspalpable, which I think was a reflection ofwhat's happening at the macroeconomiclevel.’
The next show takes place from 1-5August, followed by 30 January - 2February and 30 July - 2 August 2012.
