Sanctuary Lamp This week the Sanctuary Lamp burns in loving memory of

Margaret McNamara and DMF, placed by her family.

Parish/Community News & Events: The Parish is welcome to a Family Movie Night, Saturday, October 6th, 7pm (after mass)

at St. Samuels Church. Featuring the “Show Dogs”. Popcorn and drinks will be available Children are invited to bring a sleeping bag or blanket to stretch out on the floor in front of seating. Goodwill offering (optional) (to cover expense of popcorn , etc.).

St. Samuel’s Men’s Group hosts a 45’s Card Party each Sunday evening beginning at 7 pm in the parish hall. Cost is $5.00/person, no partner required. Everyone welcome!

St. Samuels’ Women’s Exercises have resumed and are held each Monday, Wednesday

and Friday from 10 am to 11 am in the Parish Hall Everyone welcome. For more

information contact Adeline Robichaud 773-8350. St. Mary’s Prayer Shawl Ministry has resumed. If you like to knit or crochet, please

consider joining us each Thursday at 10:00 am in Room 120 for a time of prayer, reflection, and sharing as we work on our shawls. New members are always welcome!

St. Mary’s has Holy Rosary before mass, weekdays 11:30 am, and Sundays at 9:30 am in the Fr. McGrath Chapel. All are welcome!

A new flood light has been installed in St. Mary’s cemetery, shining upon the newly restored statue. If you happen to be going by some evening, please stop in and check it out. Before and after pictures are posted on St. Mary’s website and thank you again to all who helped in any way to get this work completed.

A MIRAMICHI REGION CONFIRMATION KICKOFF for all candidates is being held Saturday, Sep-tember 29 at St. Mary’s Church Centre. Registration- 12:45pm. Special guests include Most. Rev. Robert Harris and Trevor Droesbeck. Lots to see, hear, do and eat during this special event. Candidates and all family members (including sponsors) are asked to attend Mass at 4:30 pm, followed by a potluck dinner.
