lighting technician, over previous years i have critically evaluated LeD technology.

many products on the market failed to meet my required standards of

professionalism.

in 2007 the first LeD spotlight from Laser imagineering entered mass

production. since that time we have tried many things and constantly exchange

ideas with leading industry producers. Our challenge: to create new concepts and

ideas, constantly searching for the best and latest physical and technical solutions

– to offer our customers individual and unique lighting concepts.

LigHT – the building block of our dreams Laser imagineering is a young, mobile and emerging enterprise that consists of a team of specialists for high-performance LeD concepts and efficient lighting systems. in recent years, our company has continually grown, adding worldwide projects and customers - and the bigger we get, the more space we need: since 2011, we design, optimise, construct and produce individual high-power spotlights in our new office in mölln, germany. Through many stages, a vision becomes an idea. From the ideas come the designed and ready-packed end product. For flexibility and the demand for high standards, Laser imagineering stands apart from the mass-production of the Far east.

We see light not only as an essential element of life: For us, light is a creative building block. We offer an all-encom-passing service for all electronic solutions and imaginative ideas concerning LeDs and their technologies. Our innova-tive products are manufactured in our own workshops and in individual production units. everything from a single source – and always “made and engineered in germany”. in addition, almost 100 per cent of the production’s elec-tricity is supplied by our own solar energy system. environ-mentally friendly and sustainable.

FesTiVaL OF LigHTs™: Berlin’s alexanderplatz glowing with colour!

arCHiTeCTure – brightly focussed

Once a year, the FesTiVaL OF LigHTs™ shows germany’s capital berlin in a special light. spectacular and unique illuminations on more than 40 landmarks of berlin, from the brandenburg gate to the Victory Column. Laser imagineering took on one of the most demanding light installations: in 2013 alexanderplatz was bathed in spectacular colours. in this way Laser imagineering provided a seamless illumination from the floor to the

berlin television tower which at 368 metres is the tallest building in germany and the fourth tallest freestanding building in europe - the Laser imagineering specialists were the only vendor that could implement the require-ments with the desired LeD technology. To achieve this, they used the spotlight system C-LeD 3000, still one of the world’s most powerful LeD spotlights.

every building has it own unique structure and therefore needs many different types of spotlights to illuminate the desired structure with light. Often limits are reached, where standard products cannot achieve the desired effect. Here the Laser imagineering team offers a combina-

tion of possibilities, such as the Wing series with modular design which is assembled according to customer needs. However, also in special areas Laser imagineering offers solutions such as the high-intensity C-LeD series or the highly specific lighting of the blade systems.

“On the day of test illumination at the Festival of Lights in 2011 in berlin, i could not imagine how the team of Laser imagineering could achieve homogeneous illumination to the top of the TV tower with LeD spotlights. i was very impressed with the enormous reach and performance of the C-LeD 3000 systems. six impressive, energy-saving systems were able to illuminate the entire tower in brilliant colours.”

We light up the TV Luminaries spot on! For many years, Laser imagineering products have played their part in television, theatre, tour and event productions. For example, almost all public-service TV in-stitutions in germany rely on our products. One of our first and still most loyal customers is norddeutsche rundfunk,

with a variety of our spotlight systems in its studios which are used in all kinds of productions. The nDr was involved in the genesis of the first series of Laser imagineering’s products – and presents glamorous TV moments to this day.

Projects with susTaineD CHarisma as a specialised system manufacturer that can respond to high demands, Laser imagineering is regularly called in for special projects – from extraordinary architectural illumination to large-scale downtown lighting. For our team, tricky tasks are the driving force behind innova-tive solutions – where other providers from the sector of mass-production give up, at Laser imagineering this

awakens the spirit of invention. as proof, consider some of our project references: repeatedly with ongoing success. This was how in 2013 on behalf of the russian govern-ment, Laser imagineering illuminated moscow’s city centre with many thousands of spotlights. To achieve this, the colour changer LeD from the Frisbee series as well as the bLaDe 850 series were used.

The aLLianz arena bathed in green in truth the allianz arena shines only in red, blue and white. This could also be greener, as Laser engineering proved in 2013: for this challenge Laser engineering used the powerful C-LeD 1000 and C-LeD 3000 spotlights – a special lighting technology, otherwise the existing lights would have to be replaced. The action was part of a global campaign – Laser imagineering was in amongst

the finest community: as well as bayern munich’s home ground, the empire state building, the leaning tower of Pisa and rio de Janeiro’s statue of Christ the redeemer were all lit up in ireland’s national colour. For the allianz arena project, 30 C-LeD 1000/3000 systems were in use, while the light output was “just” 13 kW, truly green!

SUNBEAM SERIES – TOWARDS THE SUN sUnbeams are our extremely bright linear LeD battens that inspire with special features and are

designed for indoor and outdoor use – including for professional applications in the fields of TV,

concerts, touring and theatre. all systems from the sUnbeam series have a completely unique,

flexible and new Quickrig fastening system. in addition, the devices give a high-quality overall

impression.

THE SUNBEAM 4C ZOOM SYSTEM The sunbeam 4C Zoom LeD bars are available in 50 cm or 100 cm lengths,

however, they use the 4-colour multi-chip emitter from Osram. The red, green,

blue and white are in use on an smD chip. each chip provides a power output

of 12W at your disposal. by the additional use of the colour white, the colour

combinations of red, green and blue can be desaturated very effectively. Thus

a great number of tones and graded soft pastel shades are possible. The wide

range of colours is unique. sunbeam 4C Zoom is the only device in its class to

offer a zoom range between 7.5° and 80°. The special feature here is that the

zoom works completely free of wear and maintenance. a high-precision 16 bit

control ensures more uniform dimming in the critical range from 0 to 10 per cent

without sudden brightening of the LeDs.

For this system, special power supplies have been developed by us to ensure

optimal functionality and thermal dissipation. The built-in blade system prevents

stray light and direct visibility of LeDs (honeycomb structure).

THE SUNBEAM FC SYSTEMsUnbeam FC LeD bars are available in 50 cm and 100 cm lengths and are fitted with 3-colour

multi-chip LeDs custom-made specifically for Laser imagineering. They offer absolutely ho-

mogeneous and brilliant colour mixing. The sunbeam FC has a beam angle of 25°. The 3-colour

multi-chip emitter combines the colours red, green and blue with each other on a chip at an an-

gle of 120°. The colour is mixed like this before the lens, thereby resulting in a very homogeneous

colour impression. single-colour LeDs are no longer visible, so that the familiar “candy” effects

are not present using these devices. The spotlights create very beautiful colours in extremely fine

gradations. The colour is highly accurate and very evenly mixed, producing impressive beams of

light.

ARCHITECTURE IN LIGHTBEAM

C-LeD are our LeD-Wash spotlights, which have an unparalleled performance and are

often used for architectural lighting applications. There are currently no other powerful

floodlights with LeD technology on the world market that can be used outdoors as a

scenic illumination of facades, objects and buildings. The beam angle is very narrow with-

out additional beam correction filters and therefore

reaches objects at a great distance. The C-LeD series

includes two models: C-LeD 1000 is equipped with

200 high-power LeDs (1 KW), while C-LeD 3000 has

600 high-power LeDs (3 KW).
