The LASER™ Liquor Systems provide an addi-tional solution to control portion size and account for liquor inventory, particularly in setting where speed in serving is required.

The system consists of a reservoir system that houses bottles and is mounted re-motely, at an unlimited distance from the hand held dispenser gun, which is mounted a the serving station to serve drinks.

This system allows for the secure storage of your liquor inventory.

Laser system can dispense an unlimited number of brands of liquors and pre- programmed cocktails, with unlimited price levels and portions sizes pre brand. The LASER system is available in a version that meets and is certified to NSF and Weights and Measures standards. All Bottle™ Liquor Control Systems

The ALL-BOTTLE™ Liquor Control Systems line-up, which in-cludes various models, provides a solution to control the portion size and account for the inventory of bottled liquor.

The ALL-BOTTLE system consist of specialized bottle-top pourers with tamper evident seals utilizing a pour through ring. It tracks and controls each portion of liquor dis-pensed, while allowing the customer to view the product being poured from the actual bottle.

The portion sizes are user programmable.

Berg’s patented ALL-BOTTLE ID™ with SMART POUR™ technology, improves the existing bottle top pourer by embedding a microchip in each pourer. This allows each pourer to be assigned to a different brand which provides en-hanced inventory tracking options.

Sales Terminal Interface — is a direct communication link between Berg Company™ liquor dispensers and sales terminals. Sales terminals are either Point of

Sale (POS) terminals or Electronic Cash Registers (ECR). The terminals can be set to capture sales automatically as each drink is poured. Sales terminal companies that support Berg LDS do so via a serial data interface with two way com-munication. They employ one or more of three main methods to deal with the data that is trans-ferred. They are as follows: •Direct Ring-Up •Pre-Checking •File Posting For more details about these three methods please call Bevco. There are wireless options for serial interfacing. Please give us a call for more information. You can use a serial auto-switcher to connect more than one Berg ECU to a single POS terminal. For sales terminal companies that do not support Berg LDS, the Berg Parallel interface is sometimes an option. This is a parallel data interface with one way communication, however, the communication is not with the sale terminal. It is with a circuit board often referred to as a “keyboard wedge”, which can be purchased with good soldering skills. We recommend that this be the responsibility of the sales terminal vendor and not the Berg Dealer. For more information please call Bevco.

Infinity™ software is a com-puterized liquor system that al-lows you to manage all aspects of beverage dispensing includ-ing brand and price assignment, dispenser operation and report-ing. Operations and reports can be combined across your entire establishment.

Infinity™ software is Windows™ based and can run on all recent versions of Windows. It is user friendly and easy to use. Equipment is easy to set up, Infinity™ software makes changes to prices, turning on equipment and handling price level changes such as happy hour a snap. Sales information is downloaded from all Berg equipment into a central database, ready for analysis. Communication with the equipment is done using a serial port. An existing Ethernet LAN can also be used. Software can combine the data from all of your dispensing equipment: Laser™ dispensers, Tap 1™, All-Bottle 1544™, All-Bottle 7, All-Bottle ID dispensers.

Infinity™ report gather information from you beverage equipment and has a variety of configurable report including infor-mation on number of

pours, sales and volume. Hourly, weekly, and monthly reports are available. You can get as much detail as you want. You can even set up you own custom reports. Report can calculate your pouring cost. Inventory can be monitored and automatically or-dered. Infinity™ schedule allows you to schedule com-mon operations such as running reports and ena-bling beverage control equipment to be run auto-matically at designated days and times. Information can be exported and exchanged with spreadsheets and other programs.

Ethernet Communication Package

Many modern buildings, including casinos, resorts and large hotels often are wired for computer net-works. When a Ethernet Local Area Network (LAN) is already present in the building , you do not need to run additional wiring between the PC running Infinity™ software and the Berg dispens-ing equipment. The Infinity LAN Communication package takes care of everything. The Ethernet to Serial commu-nication converter replaces a RS232 to RS485 con-verter. Set up is quick. The Ethernet to Serial communica-tion converter can be set up on any network con-nection on the building LAN close to the dispens-ers. Install software on the PC and identify the loca-tion of the converter on the LAN and associate it with a new virtual serial port. Infinity software can then make use of the “serial port” to communicate with the dispensing equipment during set up and reporting. The building IT department can often help you with this process but the use of the Ethernet con-verter is transparent to the Infinity software.
