FiberFly

FiberFly uses the most innovative technology at with active fiber doped with Ytterbium. It is the ideal laser solution for precision marking, micro-machining and cutting of plastic and metal materials. The fiber technology has provided extraordinary leaps in laser technology: The expected laser life provides more than 100,000 hours of marking due to the use of “single emitter” diodes as well as the fully integrated design and construction of the optical components. In order to guarantee additional protection against overvoltage or power blackouts, Lasit an interference filtration system. This design is standard on each FiberFly system that is built. The real effectiveness is verified by a noise generator. Moreover, a flexible stainless steel tube protects and guides the connection cables as well as the optical fiber. An additional layer of steel armour cabling further protects the cables. This tube of diameter 25mm minimizes the possibility of accidental breakage and it creates additional protection against any electromagnetic interference or electrostatic discharge. The marks created with the FiberFly system are accurate, indelible and have no environmental impact whatsoever, unlike inks and chemicals.

FlyAir GreenFlyAir Green is a solid state laser (active material YVO4 ), with a pumping axial and duplication crystal of the laser beam inside the cavity. The laser beam that is generated has a wavelength of 532nm and is characterized by green light. The laser module is completely sealed, assembled and pre-aligned in a White Room. The FlyAir Green system is made up of two bodies connected through a steel shroud: a drawer that contains the management electronics and a group of components by including the laser source and the scanning unit. This shroud is essential for the protection of the cables and prevents damage caused by bending or accidental pressure or crushing to the shroud. The system is air cooled to ensure a constant temperature - the diode is mounted on a Peltier cell. This type of laser is ideal for all plastics marking; transparent parts in general, and for laser processing in the solar/photovoltaic industry.

The FiberFly Green system uses the same innovative technology of the FiberFly system (active fiber doped with Ytterbium) with the integration of a duplication crystal wavelength. The pulse duration of the FiberFly Green laser is 532 nm. The minimum duration is 1 ns and the working frequency is 600 kHz. The FiberFly Green life expectancy is more than 100,000 hours of on time marking due to the “single emitter” diodes and the fully integrated construction of the optical components. Each laser has an interference filtration systems which provides additional protection against over voltages and power blackouts. The effectiveness of this filtration system is verified by a noise generator. The Green FiberFly system is ideal for marking opaque, translucent and transparent plastic materials. Many of these materials that can be laser processed are used in the solar/photovoltaic industry, backlit “night & day” buttons and panels as well as micro-machining type applications.

The Unico and Flyair Compact systems are solid state lasers for marking characterized by the generation of the laser beam within the cavity. The active material is YVO4 (yettrium orthovanadate neodymium-doped) with axial pumping diodes. The laser module is completely sealed, assembled and pre-aligned in the Clean Room. The two models - Unico e Flyair Compact are the same laser source: what differentiates them is the structure and the placement of the components inside. Unico has been developed as a single unit. This provides the smallest footprint, but optimal scanning over the widest area with easy and quick integration. The FlyAir Compact system, instead, is designed in two bodies connected through a steel cordon: a drawer that contains the management electronics and a group of components including the laser source and the scanning unit. In situations when the weight of the laser must be considered, this design offers an ideal solution by minimizing the overall weight. Both systems provide increased stability. Furthermore, the design of the diode connected directly to the cavity prevents any risk in rupturing the transport fiber The air cooling is to ensure a constant temperature, and the diode is mounted on a Peltier cell. This type of laser is ideal for personalization type marking in which you can provide shades of gray – such as ID cards and marking of plastics.

FlyCO2

FlyCO2 is the solution for marking plastic and natural materials such as plexiglass, paper, wood, stone, textiles, and marble. The laser system is extremely compact, modular and can fully integrated into any production line. The system is designed for high productivity while at the same time reducing operation costs. It can be completely integrated into productions lines to interface with existing PLC systems with communication via RS232 or TCP/IP available with the Client/Server design and the use of digital signals. According to depending on the power/model, the source is of a sealed type and then the supply with external gas is not necessary. Depending on the power/model, when the source is a sealed laser, then there is no requirement for external gas. When the source is semi-sealed, a refill can be simply with the replacement of a pressurized canister that provides the proper mixture of gases. The current C02 laser systems in production range from 10 W to 70 W with both air cooed and water cooled depending on the power. Depending on the specific application (marking, annealing cutting, sintering, drilling, deep engraving) Lasit offers a broad range of lasers. This is an RF source with the resonator integrated in the laser tube. The scanning unit is available with two or three axes. The two axis with a flat field lens or the three axis with a prescan lens with a dynamic Z. The two-axis scanning unit uses a pair of high speed and high accuracy galvanometers, with the drivers and the control electronics - in SMT technology - integrated inside the head itself which is also sealed to prevent mirror contamination.

The three axis scanning unit - Pre-Scan - is ideal for large marking areas (up to 1m x 1m) where high accuracy is required or in cases where to carrying out re-coupling is not convenient. The dynamic Z, characterized by an optical system mounted on a linear motor, maintains a perfect and constant laser beam. The Gaussian, concentric laser beam ensures efficiency and high quality marks. This system enables the operator to vary the laserfocus without moving it along the Z axis. The entire system with allthe necessary electronics are housed within the scanning head.An overpressure design prevents any contamination of the opticsand the mirrors.

PenFeeder

The Lasit Automated Pen Feeder marking system is designed for laser marking pens or other cylindrical parts (barrels) automatically. This high speed system provides hours of use unattended by placing a large volume of pens into a hopper and then having them come out the other end fully marked. The system orientates and then rotates each pen and logos, text can be marked in a linear fashion or wrapped around the circumference of the pen (or cylindrical part). This revolutionary marking system reduces operator time to load and unload pens into a rotary device speeding up production. The first zone of the system aligns and orients the pen in the same direction. The pen travels along and is then rotated 360 degrees to wrap information around the circumference. This system can be equipped with a one laser or two lasers within the same system for greater productivity. The programmable Z axis, operated by the FlyCAD marking software, provides for marking parts with various thicknesses. Marks can be longitudinal lines of text of continuous seamless logos 360° around the pen.

RollerCoasterThe RollerCoaster system is an automatic laser marking system with a closed loop line for the machining of work pieces placed on a pallet. These parts can be cylindrical placed in pallets that continuously travel through the line, are indexed to be marked and then are automatically unloaded. The overall dimensions as well as the numbers of pallets can be customized and defined based on the production needs of the customer. Cylindrical parts are loaded quickly into the fixture with varying diameters and the pallets move around in a loop to be marked and unloaded. The marking area has a built in stop to index the pallet which consistently produces accurate, precise, repeatable marks. The programmable and motorized Z axis controlled from a PC provides for automatic marking on the same pallet with parts that have varying heights. Once the marking is completed, it can be downloaded automatically with a rollover system. The line speed is then adjusted by an inverter. The system can be installed with different types of lasers according to the material to be marked and a vision system can be integrated. The operator loads the pieces on the several pallets and he starts the cycle: the first pallet - and then all the other pallets in a continuous loop - is transported in the marking chamber to be indexed and marked. The pallet with the marked pieces is then released and it passes into the automatic discharge station where it is overturned and the marked pieces run on a specific slide while the empty pallet returns to the loading station. The system is available with a full range of laser systems depending on the material to be marked. An optional vision system can be integrated as well. The pallets are loaded prior to marking and the laser starts to mark each pallet in a continuous loop. Each pallet is transported to the marking chamber to be indexed and marked. After the marking is completed the pallet is released and then passes to the automatic discharge station (if included in the system) where it continues in the loop on a slide and returns to the loading station.

Sarema

Sarema is a system that provides for automatic marking and recognition of 8 to 12 crankshafts at one time. The system offers programmable motorized X, Y, and Z axes which are controlled by the PC. X (1000mm), Z (100mm) and Y (30mm). This systems can simultaneously mark 5 shafts all of which can be loaded at the same time. Given the considerable weight of these parts, a convenient slide-out table is employed to load each shaft. Each station has a plate with a bearing support for the centering and the rotation of the shaft which is then locked into position with a pneumatic system. The operator presses the start button which triggers the closing of the pneumatic door with sensors. This automatic process facilitates pulling data from a customer database, marking the part with the data and reading and verifying the mark. During this automated process the operator can be loading and unloading the other shafts. This optimizes machine on time providing the greatest through put.

Reflex vision system

The vision system FFL (SLR) enables the operator to view exactly what is being marked with great detail. This is largely due to the fact that the optical path from the camera to the marking plane does not pass through the optical elements which can cause aberrations. The camera has a high quality CCD sensor (Charge coupled device).Sizes vary depending on the required field of view. A full range of lenses is available to provide the highest resolution and the best possible contrast. The lens incorporates a filter to completely shield the light scattered by the source during the laser marking. The mechanism of the reflex mirror moves on tempered and ground guides with high precision. Repositioning is immediate and repeatable. The optical system is designed to protect it against contamination and dust by completely sealing the mirrors inside a the chamber.

The vision system TTL (through the lens) is the ideal solution for centering and positioning the marks on very small pieces such as an eyeglass screw with extreme accuracy and high definition are required. A high definition camera (CCD-chard coupled device) is placed before the scanning unit to follow the same optical path of the laser. This technology allows the operator to view exactly what will be marked. It aids in centering the marks. The camera management software, fully integrated in FlyCAD allows operating in numerous modes: vision only, manual centering vision, automatic centering vision. In the automatic centering mode the system identifies, focuses and automatically directs the text or the drawing to be marked. This process occurs by choosing the “area” mode for the recognition of the photo created as a model or “edge” which provides centering through Pattern recognition. The vision system is supplied with a flexible lighting system tailored for each specific application. The TTL vision system is the ideal solution for recognition of small parts, when needing to center marks on the head of a screw for medical implants and other fine detailed parts. The viewing area is a maximum of 30x20 mm.

FlyCAD

FlyCAD, created in a Windows environment employs the concept WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get). The simplicity and flexibility of FlyCAD allows the system to incorporate all the information necessary for marking (power, frequency, etc.) into one single file .dwg or .dxf. This can include any combination of True Type text, serial numbers, bar codes, datamatrix, logos, etc.The software also controls the management of the movement of up to 9 axes. As FlyCAD continually evolves all updates and upgrades are free to our customers for the life of the machine. Our software engineering team is also able to create fully customized software, graphics and interface. The software can load dynamic data, manage a customer data base, and control all automation.

Simple, intuitive, flexible“It adapts itself to every customer need”

www.lasit.itTechnical informationFully customizable: Ability to interface practically with all communication protocols(TSP, TCP / IP, RS232, PROFIBUS, etc.) File Import: With FlyCAD it is possible to draw directly, or import textsand / or drawings of any kind of format (DXF, DWG, PLT, AI, PDF, EPS, BMP), and if necessary, to change them. Accuracy: Ability to carry out lines, polylines, arcs, circumferencesand fillings.Font: Full support for TTF fonts also in oriental language Text: Text with scalable fonts. Horizontal and vertical writing mode. Text aligned to the left, right and center, or justified. Marking text in rotation with the option to set the radius, angle of departure and final. Bar code: Code 128, EAN8 and EAN13, code 39, code 2 of 5and others on request Dmx: Fully compatible with the AIM specifications.Date automatically: date generations based on a format completely configurable by the customer in any language. Integration with the axes: replication feature available in conjunction with XY tables so that you can mark a pallet of pieces automatically. Split: functionality available in conjunction with XY tables. The program will automatically “cut” a bigger drawing of the working plane in several parts. At the end of this operation performed in real time, the machine positions the XY tables so as to mark the first square and then it passes to the next square to cover the total area to be marked. In this way the marking area includes the entire table. Parameters: database with processing parameters of materials. able to store thousands of different parameter sets. Counter: option to count the number of marked pieces and to receive a warning at the end of the process
